This was excellent yesterday. Well worth an hour of your time, and shows the amazing commitment of Dr. Fauci, making the current White House smear campaign all the more despicable. Begins at the 32:10 mark so you will need to move the slider forward to that point. Thanks Dan. Very informative and great questions from the students of Georgetown. And Navarro should be made to see this.

Dr. Fauci comments on Nutjob Navarro. Anthony Fauci isn’t about to quit, despite the White House’s clumsy attempts to stain his public image. More so now than at any other point in their uneasy partnership, it seems that if President Donald Trump wants to be rid of Fauci, he’ll need to fire him. In recent days especially, the White House has stepped up efforts to discredit Fauci, a move he describes as “bizarre.” “I can’t explain Peter Navarro,” he added. “He’s in a world by himself.” www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/07/trump-fauci-coronavirus-pandemic-oppo/614224/

We're only free to go to about 29 countries worldwide, only 9 without some sort of restriction. Kind of like being a South African in the late 1980's.

And let's be honest, the vast majority of those are island nations in the Caribbean, whose economies are extremely reliant on tourism $ (particularly from Americans).

Hogan is clearly angling for the GOP Presidential nomination in 2024. It won't work. The white supremacist, anti-immigrant xenophobic Republican base will never support a nominee who has a nonwhite immigrant spouse.

Retweeting Chuck Woolery. You just can't make up this level of stupidity. In an interesting turn of events, Chuck Woolery announced yesterday that his son had contracted COVID-19 and commented that it is real. He has since deleted his Twitter account.

The white supremacist, anti-immigrant xenophobic Republucan base will never support a nominee who has a nonwhite immigrant spouse. "Why didn't Trump help my state?" 0 electoral votes and crapping on the memory of Elijah Cummings is far more important than the fact that MD's governor is nominally a Republican.

The reason why every other wealthy country on the planet will be able to reopen schools safely in the fall is that they followed the science and got the virus under control.

What, he didn't say that it's just the sniffles?

Kemp's son's friend to Kemp's son: "My dad's a bigger moron than your dad." Kemp's son: "Oh, yeah? Only if your dad is Donald Trump."

Just in case there was any doubt how much Trump cares about anything other than re-election, he is refusing to let the CDC testify before Congress regarding opening schools. First he was willing to sacrifice the older population to COVID for the sake of the economy. Now he’s willing to sacrifice children. We have no idea what the long term impact of children contracting COVID could be, and Donald Trump could not care less. When Israel recently opened its schools, it was an absolute disaster. And they had the virus managed. This administration is full of monsters, and anyone who votes for more of this is complicit in whatever happens. But please, definitely keep pretending the “pro-life” platform is a justification for this ongoing atrocity. www.politico.com/news/2020/07/17/education-democrats-cdc-director-congress-367935
