Still injured per Ewing post-game.

Still injured per Ewing post-game. I hope it is not a season ending injury for the young man. He seems like a great kid and hard worker who was ready to take on a significant role with the team, and the team could use his skill set. Hopefully he is back for Big East play, but hamstrings are tough injuries to recover from.

Just wanted to bump Kobe’s thread and get some appreciation and we’ll wishes going for him if he ever sees this - just did the same for Riley, bit of a bummer to have two young promising guys out! Can be tough to keep your head up with a nagging injury and I’m sure he’s frustrated but we’re all rooting for him and hoping he starts healing soon! I know we’ve only seen glimpses but I can imagine a Holloway-like impact when he returns (just in that I’m expecting real production from him - obviously different types of players)
Anyway, hoping for some good news soon and in the meantime keep your head up and working and bringing the culture and energy!

Hoyanoob, Thanks. He was a player I was looking forward to seeing last year. I was happy when we picked him up,from his HS video he revealed himself as a leader and a point forward, a Swiss-army type of player and he has never gotten the time to strut his stuff. I only hope one of these years, he is Red-shirted and gets substantial time to play. Given all the watching he's been doing, I am sure he will become a coach on the floor.
Heal soon Kobe Clark!!

Biggest question for me so far this year is him. Why did he play at the end of SDSU game and not any others? Is he injured? Still wouldn’t really explain his one game.

Clark status and injury: December 16, 2021 Coach Patrick Ewing said that Clark is still dealing with a hamstring injury, Bobby Bancroft of SB Nation reports. Anyone who has had a hamstring injury knows how dicey it is to return from it.

Georgetown Hoops put a clip of Tim, Dante and Kobe practicing up on the IG account today. Hilltop Hoops retweeted the footage and it's posted in the Georgetown-Marquette game discussion elsewhere on the Board hoyatalk2.proboards.com/post/954459/thread

Hopefully, the unscheduled down time has allowed him to get healthy. I think he has a significant role to play if he is, in fact, healthy. I'm excited to see him back in the lineup.

Not that there's a lot of high praise to be doled out after yesterday but I'm very glad to see Kobe healthy enough to be playing. Silver linings.

Plus, we haven't seen enough to gauge what he'll bring offensively.

Trillest, he hasn't played enough in 2 years for anyone to evaluate what skills he has. Give him some time.

Wanted to throw some praise towards Kobe Clark. The kid is a hustler. Busts his butt 100% of the time he’s on the floor.

Glad to see Kobe back in the mix. Our defense should get better with Kobe and now Wayne added to the roster.

Wishing all the best for this young man. In his limited opportunities on the floor he showed hustle and effort and gave me hope that he could emerge later in his career as a significant contributor. Unfortunately injuries robbed him of any real opportunity here and I hope he finds a school where he can see the floor.
