He just needs to play, he has skills. Kobe seems to have just lost his place in the rotation when he was injured early in the year. Before the injury it looked like the staff had a role for him and he would see some decent playing time as a freshman. Even in a normal year, and this past year was not normal with COVID, it is difficult for a player to integrate back into a rotation after missing significant time during the season. Practice time is limited and a lot of that time is spent on prep for the next game, which means less time for the players to "compete" against each other to earn more playing time. It almost seemed like after the COVID pause the team was playing better with the shortened rotation it was using and the staff did not want to change something that was going in the right direction. Hopefully this summer he has a chance to earn that playing time for next season. I think he does bring an element to the team, (energy/toughness), that the team will need.

I’m really hoping there is a Kenner this summer...

He is a glue guy and can be a point forward. That's what I believe. He can operate around the key and foul line and see the floor, direct traffic.

Every great team has a Kobe Clark type that just does all right plays in big moments. Also we will need Kobe to play a Bile role on D but hopefully more consistent on O.

Only player other than Big Tim not to get in minutes, what's up with that?

I'm hoping he is a redshirt for this year. The key for program success is to get old. We need guys like Clark to stick around and help us get old. System guys that will be really good 5 year players and will walk away from Gtown with multiple degrees. Kids like Clark, Holloway, Harris, Timmy, Malcolm, Beard, Billingsley.... We need all those guys bought in for the long term.

Best wishes to Kobe on getting healthy! I feel bad for the young man. He got off to a quick start last year and then got hurt and never found his way back into the rotation. I was excited to see what he would add to this young group this year and now he is dealing with another injury. He is an interesting player and brings a lot of energy to the team. If he can get healthy soon, I think he can add something to the team, but if it is going to be a month or more, then maybe a red shirt year is best.

Best wishes to Kobe on getting healthy! Kobe is healthy now. The above tweet is from Nov. 11. He has been dressed in uniform and on the bench the last couple weeks.

Does that mean that he is fully healthy and ready to play? I am not arguing here- just not sure.

He got on the floor for about a minute in garbage time against San Diego State. He logged 1 rebound.
He was definitely injured at the start of the season, but it would seem he is healthy again given that he played against SDSU, unless he re-aggravated his injury somewhere along the way.

I don't know how accurate this is since I didn't see it myself but someone mentioned a tweet of him being questionable for the South Carolina game due to his hamstring.

His career so far seems snakebitten. I've been looking forward to seeing him play, but between last year and this year, he has been injured. Said to be hamstring. Whatever it is we pray for your healing soon.

It would be good to hear if anyone knows for sure.

Yes I was wondering if he was still dressing. It looked like maybe he wasn’t dressed on Saturday but hard to tell.
