Pathetic second half. Honestly, we didn’t play that well in the first half either. We were handed a gift with this game and completely fumbled it away. I blame the coaching staff completely. Not good enough.

For much of the game the Hoyas have played really well, but one player had a boneheaded night that cost us deeply. I hate hanging anything on one players, but not guarding your man who is a great shooter and giving up 12 easy points in a short stretch is horrible play.

Our home court is truly embarrassing. Tight, must-win conference game and the only think to be heard on the broadcast from the crowd is that nincompoop yelling “DEFENSE!” in a hopeless effort to fire up what little crowd is in the building. Program is in the toilet and has been for years now. To be fair, it's after 11 PM at night. And unfortunately a lot of fans don't go in expecting to win anymore. |

Yurt7 and Mac missing several early shots to open the second half didn’t help. Should’ve tried driving more or drawing fouls, no ball movement.

The game plan to start the half was killer. For 5 minutes:
1) "get it to Yurt and Pickett"!
2) "we didn't talk about defense at halftime, of crap!"

The lack of ball movement has been troubling. Oh well. Playing for next year at this point. Really should focus on Q’s development now over Yurt.

Our junior/senior guards and freshmen center are the only ones who played worth a damn. Pickett played his worst game of his career and if this is what we can expect from Yurt and Mac in a home game, then we just aren't going to win many more games.

The 2nd half one player's inability to do the basics in a short period swung everything. A badly blown goaltending call followed by a ticky tack foul (if there even was a foul) really killed the chances. |

It's embarrassing that a team can play a bad as Butler played in the 1st half, and easily make up the deficit and win. And they went down because they were flat and has some bizarre turnovers. It wasn't like we played great and jumped on them. We look like a bottom feeder once again.
