I always will admire Jagan as a Hoya. He has played a whole lot of tough basketball on a lot of bad teams. He plays to a standard, and I really like that.

It's a coach's job to get players to execute. It's part of teaching and communicating. It's the most important aspect of coaching. If a player fails to execute, that's a failure of coaching. Coaches are all similar in terms of X's and O's. They all pull info from the same pool of knowledge. It comes down to talent and how the knowledge is communicated to players. This is where Ewing struggles. The thing is you can’t be a great coach one minute and a terrible one the next, just like you can’t be a great player one minute and a terrible player the next. Reality is, it’s somewhere in the middle. Better talent makes mediocre coaching look much better because the Xs and Os are executed better. Better coaching can maximize the potential of mediocre talent. On scale of 1 to 10 where would rate Ewing's coaching with 10 being the highest

Yurt going 4/13 and Pickett scoreless is the difference Yurt and Pickett not defending his man for 12 points is the difference.

That hasn't been a good solution this year. But, Yurtseven covering a wing isn't a great nor good idea. Right because they haven't tried it

Big question now -- can we own the stretch here? A couple big shots have us right in this game. We couldn't make the final big play with Marquette in our last home game. Wish we could find some magic now.

That hasn't been a good solution this year. But, Yurtseven covering a wing isn't a great nor good idea. Right because they haven't tried it You really need to start watching the games. It has been tried 8 or more times and it is okay on offense (other than utterly clogs the lane in really bad way) and defense on the wing is horrible and gets burned quickly.

Pickett grabs the rebound but he's so desperate for a basket he takes a tough shot instead of kicking it out. Making the wrong play all night. Can't wait for more options at forward next year.

Pat just kept Mac on the bench for 4 minutes in semi-crunch time. WTF!
