Ewing should lose his job for allowing these guys to play after the preliminary injunction was granted on Nov 20. There is no excuse.

Apparently Alexander has learned nothing from his days at LSU...

Apparently Alexander has learned nothing from his days at LSU... Have to wonder about the larger effect of him coming here...

In-studio analysts said they will be talking about Georgetown players “dismissals” at halftime on ESPN 2. 2:54 left in first half Recorded earlier.

Need answers absolutely no later than noon tomorrow imo. I assume they can't comment on everything, but the air needs to be cleared on certain things

It is unclear, from the wording of the Preliminary Injunctive Order entered against LeBlanc and Alexander on November 20, whether they were present at the hearing and/or participated in it, and whether they even received notice of the hearing. It is not uncommon for TROs to be issues on an ex parte basis (i.e., without the participation of the adversary), and that could have happened here. In that context. it is possible that Ewing was unaware of the pending litigation.

TRO being granted and TRO being served are two different things. Orders of protection have to be served to be effective--at least in NY. Given they were playing in NYC on 11/21, I believe they left campus on 11/20.

Conclusion: 1) No more NCAA chances 2) They have no idea the cause 3) Playing college ball is a privilege not a right 4) Patrick doing right by the G-town name by taking "immediate" action

If any of these allegations prove to be true, I want the players involved to be as far a way from the university as possible. If this happened to my daughter at GU, I wouldn’t care one iota about the impact on the basketball season.

N ot on social media so I have no idea what the rumors, speculation and innuendo might be. Of course this is a big loss of talent for the team. But we still have talent on this team, and kids and staff that want to play their hearts out for the blue and gray. We run with what we got. I have to think Patrick and the staff are more disappointed and disheartened by this than we are, but they have a team to coach and young men to teach. Go ahead and b*tch and moan about this. I still trust that this will strengthen the program in the end. Coddle these kids? Cater to them to keep them happy, no matter what they do? Hope I never see that. 0 I am sure Ewing is very unhappy but at some point the guy at the top needs to take responsibility. The guys named in the complaints are all his recruits. Again, it is not Ewing’s fault these guys may have done what is alleged, but at some point you can’t just blame the players. Well it does depend on whether there was any prior indication of behavior or character issues. If so, then Patrick's judgment was bad. But if not, who knows? Sometimes kids do stupid and even illegal things when they are on their own at college.

Still don't understand why the Akinjo departure is announced with LeBlanc; and nothing on Gardner or Alexander. Feels like something is missing...

FWIW Gardner and LeBlanc played AAU ball three years ago.

Have to say something. People need to know. It's insulting to all fans if they say nothing. Almost as if having fans is a burden on them. They need to speak and say something. No silence anymore. No excuse.

Channel 5 news here in DC has the story second on the 10 o'clock news. Says complainant filed criminal complaint with both campus cops and MPD.

No excuse. I'm not sure that the athletic department has anyone on staff who can properly handle this type of delicate information dissemination.

Well this sucks. But all you can do is laugh. It's kind of a relief actually because now we can see why Coach was putting out the weird lineups and not playing certain players much.
It was so obvious that something was terribly wrong yet people kept trying to say that it was simply to energize the second unit or some crap.

He who was second (unit) shall be first... or something like that.
