Maybe you can find a replay of the Syracuse game and feel better about things.

I think the sentiment is nova has been very good for what seems like a very long time. Georgetown is just as good a program as nova, so why can’t we do the same.
I’d agree. I will remember we had decent run 06-13....only 1 final four ....but respectable teams, often ranked during the year. We’ve now been crappy 14-18....here’s hoping 19 starts another 7-10 year run of being respectable and possibly bubbling up a couple times in the final four

Wright is the best coach in CBB right now... Agree, but I'm surprised not to see more love for Mark Few--lack of a title notwithstanding. Bennett is definitely up there as well

Well Nova won again tonight. What really Editedes me off is how easy Jay Wright is making this look. He just keeps replacing the parts like he's operating an assembly line. C'mon, this is ridiculous. We are Georgetown. While we are flailing, not even able to keep a top recruit from our own backyard, Wright sticks Chris Archidiacano in a basketball academy for a year so he will be older and more skilled for when Nova needs him in a year or two. You can close your eyes and not be sure whether you're looking at this year's team or any of the 2014-2019 teams. A bunch of guys around 6'3 - 6'8 who can shoot 3's, dribble penetrate, shoot off the dribble, pass, play defense. And play smart. DrQ, Wright's 1st 3 yrs were.......(7-9..8-8..6-10) in the BE...then he went 11-5....so if you had your way Wright never makes it to year 4...at least that's the way you treat Ewing... Please stop doing this. Just because I, or anyone else, suggests that Ewing might be a bad recruiter (based on the off court performance of his recent recruits) doesn't mean I hate Ewing or want to trash the entire program. I was an early PE supporter and love how he has made watching the Hoyas a lot more fun. And I think with better talent he would turn the BE on its head and yes he deserves more than three years to prove his worth. So don't put words in my mouth or try to discredit me just because I express concerns about PE and the direction/future of the program.

Would love to watch Marquette-Villanova but Fios arguing with local Fox provider and we don’t have the channel for now.
Of course, both teams make my eyes bleed so I’ll probably survive.

PC up 9 over DePaul on the road with about 6 minutes to go in the 1st half... and now the game is tied @ 27... Also, Marquette is spanking drquigley Nova team right now, they're up 18(39-21) late in the 1st half on the road...

Curious about attendance at DePaul game. Doesn't look like a very big crowd. Would expect more considering how well DePaul is playing.

Marquette is choking away this game. Up 20 at one point the lead is down to 8. Marquette has 5 pts in 12 mins of the second half; 8 mins without scoring a single point.

Nate Watson pushes off to get the offensive rebound (not called) and Paul Reed swats at the ball (called) and Watson lucks into a made free throw and PC beats DePaul in Chicago. Yeah, Cooley can’t coach.

Curious about attendance at DePaul game. Doesn't look like a very big crowd. Would expect more considering how well DePaul is playing. DePaul has a ongoing "customer relations" problem inasmuch it's the largest alumni base of any school in Chicago but their fans are burned out. They essentially ceded what was left of the O'Hare suburban crowd with the move to the Near South Side. From an article linked below at the DePaulia: "The last 15 years have really been tough [as a season ticket holder]...Going to the games where there isn’t a big crowd like there used to be is difficult because there is no energy in the arena like there used to be in the glory days of the team." DePaul also pads the numbers using the trick of paid attendance. Example: Announced attendance is 3,700. Actual scanned tickets is 2,000. They count paid as the 2,000 plus the season ticket holders that didn't show up, and then "buy" the difference in unsold tickets to get to 3,700. Example: Announced attendance for DePaul's 2018-19 non-conference games was 3,905. Yet, according to the link below, "Wintrust saw an average of 1,274 fans scan their tickets for each game. Out of the Blue Demons’ nine home games over that time, five saw fewer than 1,000 spectators." (emphasis added) Chicago newspapers are filing FOA requests to get the real numbers because the arena is publicly owned. depauliaonline.com/38569/sports/feeling-emptier-non-conference-attendance-drops-in-wintrusts-2nd-year/
