I really think Dante Harris will be starting either at point guard or in a 3 guard lineup with mac if he is back and Blair. Then Pickett and wahab up front. Harris will be to good to keep from starting. Like I said better than akinjo was as a freshman. He will avg 10-12 points 6-7 assists a game as freshman maybe a little more points. Can’t wait to see this special talent play. I even think in 2 years he will be a lottery nba pick. This is next great guard at Georgetown a ja morant like talent. You heard it hear first just enjoy the ride can flat out play. Go Harris baby. Hoyas is going to be back this year with his leadership.

Love the enthusiasm for Dante. Have you seen him play in person? I'm a little worried about his size at the next level, but he does look explosive.

Only one Georgetown freshman has ever posted numbers like this: Kenny Brunner, who despite his off-court issues happened to be a remarkable athlete who played at a nationally ranked high school alongside NBA players. Dante Harris played at very small high school that played only small evangelical schools. A comparison with Ja Morant, who played at a South Carolina 3A high school with an enrollment of 1,600, is premature. It's also premature to see him getting a lot of time as a freshman. McClung, Blair, Jalen Harris, and Tyler Beard all figure to be ahead of him on the depth chart, and Jaden Robinson could get more time than we think. I don't see Ewing going five or six deep at guard given how thin the team's experience is.

What about Akinjo? He must have been awfully close. Close. But Brunner was more like Iverson in that you always knew where he was on the floor. Akinjo: 13.4 points, 5.2 assists Brunner: 11.2 points, 7.3 assists

Loved Brunner’s game. He was thick, quick, tough and skilled.

I could see two scenarios for this kid. 1, where he could almost redshirt since we have Jalen Harris, Beard, Blair and Mcclung needs to be given some mins to play more point this year as well assuming he comes back. Or scenario 2 injuries or Jalen Harris just isn't playing well and Dante Harris is needed....

Dante to me looks the most fundamentally sound of the incoming freshmen.

Harris finally got his 247 rating. He's listed as the #55 PG in the country (.8800) by 247 and #57 in the composite (.8678).

His recent highlights do suggest a high level of athleticism and good form on his shot. His interviews suggest a humble kid eager to please. I expect big things out of him, maybe earlier than his ratings suggest.

So that's the one box I think he is definitely checking.

Hey, Michael Adams of BC (blast from the past for the long time fans) was a diminutive PG who would give our loaded 80s teams fits with his outside shooting (he could get to the basket too). He's listed as 5'10" but he must have had platform sneakers when measured. That might be Dante's way to p/t next year.

Dante to me looks the most fundamentally sound of the incoming freshmen. What makes you say that I think the wings look more fundamentally sound than the guards. But Dante does appear to be more fundamentally sound than Tyler but Tyler's upside is definitely higher....IMO

Dante has a good looking stroke and a nice handle. The others guards coming in are athletic and do well in an up-and-down environment. Just not sure how they will do in a structured set offense. We will see.
