Darren Harris, Team Takeover - After a slower start in the day’s opener, Harris caught fire from behind the ark and showed his trademark three-point shooting prowess to punctuate Takeover‘s second win of the day. It wasn’t just spot-up shots either. Harris came off staggered-screens, attacked closeouts to get to his pull up, and even showed some evolving athleticism by challenging shot blockers above the rim. Donny Freeman, Team Takeover - Freeman might not yet be ready to take over the game for stretches like Harris, but he made a handful of extremely high-level plays that screamed of his long-term potential. First, he caught the ball on the wing, made a decisive drive to the rim until cut-off, and then smoothly reverse-pivoted into a soft pull-up. He consistently sprinted the floor and made tough catches on the move, including one while air-born in traffic. He also showed a willingness and ability to consistently rebound in traffic. 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/college-basketball-recruiting-maryland-mayhem-finkelstein-187323087/Ever since word broke on social media that the Syracuse basketball coaching staff was reportedly showing some level of interest in 2024 five-star guard Trentyn Flowers, I’ve been keeping tabs on his recruiting process as well as what experts are saying about his overall game. Flowers, who has been running this spring on the AAU circuit with the Maryland-based Team Durant in Nike’s EYBL league, has a boatload of scholarship offers and interest from a range of blue-blood programs and other recruiting heavyweights in the sport of college basketball. According to recruiting services, Flowers holds around 20 scholarship offers at this juncture, if not more than that, from teams such as Kansas, Georgetown, Michigan, Auburn, Southern California, Memphis, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Illinois, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech and Texas Tech. In a recent Q&A with On3 national analyst Joe Tipton, when asked which college teams are currently the most involved with him, Flowers said, “Texas Tech, TCU, Kentucky, UNC, Duke, Oregon, UCLA.” insidetheloudhouse.com/2022/05/08/syracuse-basketball-experts-view-5-star-recruit-future-nba-lottery-pick/

"HOT FLASHES: Donny Freeman Recruitment: Freeman says he hopes to visit Alabama, Georgetown and Syracuse when it comes time to make official visits. He has not set any dates for such trips yet, however. He also says he remains open to new schools he hopes will enter the picture this summer." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/cassidy-awards-mayhem-in-maryland"Trentyn Flowers already holds a host of offers. The class-of-2024 forward is exploring all of them and taking his time when it comes to narrowing his focus. Rivals.com recently caught up with Flowers to discuss his options and what might be next as it relates to his recruitment, which seems to be headed up by Duke, Louisville and Kentucky for the time being." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/five-star-trentyn-flowers-plans-october-commitment

Pat, Kirby, and Orr were at the Sleepy Thompson Tournament at St Stephen's and St Agnes school tonight. Looks like they were checking out Archbishop Carroll's 2024 Guard Moses Hipps vs Highland School's 2024 SF Isaiah Abraham (Offer) and 2024 C Patrick Ngongba II (Offer) Emerging wing Isaiah Abraham is a name to know in the class of 2024. At 6-foot-6 Abraham has good size, athleticism, and shoots it well which has gotten him on the radar. As far as his recruitment goes Abraham has taken visits to Virginia, Maryland, George Mason, and Georgetown with Kansas State being his latest offer. 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/Basketball-recruiting-Isaiah-Abraham-Virginia-Kansas-State-Mayhem-in-Maryland-187473075/
