Indiana should say no BtW Kansas is the team that backed up the Brinks truck for him.

Didn't see it on this board, but I'd seen it mentioned by URI guys a few times surrounding the Kenny Johnson whispers (and just re-tweeted by Casual)...
They're worried they might lose their best '24 recruit, Ben Hammond - 3* PG from PVI/TTO. Not sure if they're worried about it being us, or just losing him anywhere b/c Johnson is moving on.
But wonder if we'd be interested in him as a backup/3rd PG (XFER>Epps/Hammond)...? I'm always a proponent of that setup, and depending on how he worked out -- he could be in line to battle a '25 PG (A Lewis?) for the starting spot going forward. If he didn't work out... no big deal.
Might depend on how many spots ultimately open up.

Recruiting ceiling was A-10. But he had a great senior year at Paul IV running that team and was first team WCAC. Close with our recruit Caleb Williams from Sidwell. Wouldn't shock me at all to see him come of Kenny Johnson gets hired. But he would contend for starter minutes at URI and would likely be our 3rd string.

“I haven’t taken any visits yet,” Greene said. “I’m talking pretty regularly with South Carolina and Clemson about setting up visits. Charleston wants me to come on one as well.”... Charleston: “The culture there stands out. The coach, Pat Kelsey, is an energy guy. You see him on Twitter; he’s really engaging. I really like his personality. The assistants, they all just have a lot of personalities down there. It feels like you’re not just talking to a coach, but you’re talking to a person. I love the way they play too. Their whole team plays really hard. They like to shoot the ball, and they let their guards play with freedom.” “The new staff at Georgetown is in contact,” KJ Greene said. “I’m recently hearing from Florida State and Florida, too, so we’ll see where those go.”... “I’m looking for a place I can thrive. I want a school that isn’t strictly basketball but also has some academic merit to it. Those are the two main things. The relationship I have with the coaching staff will be huge too. Got to have trust and a relationship with the coaches.” www.on3.com/news/kj-greene-says-clemson-and-south-carolina-are-among-schools-standing-out/ "KJ Greene, No. 93 in the 2024 On3 Industry Ranking, officially committed to UCF on Friday. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound point guard out of Atlanta (GA) Pace Academy also took official visits to Georgetown, Florida State, and Siena." www.on3.com/college/ucf-knights/news/kj-greene-a-four-star-pg-commits-to-ucf/

"Lexington High School basketball star Cam Scott has been one of the heaviest recruited prospects in the country going on two years now. His offer list includes South Carolina, Clemson, LSU, Tennessee, Miami, Alabama, Missouri, Oregon, Florida State, Auburn, Pitt, Georgetown, Texas and Kansas... “Me and my family haven’t done a final decision, but I can tell you USC is up there for sure,” Scott said. “Florida State is still up there. Alabama is a pretty new one. Texas is up there. Auburn is still up there. Ole Miss, they’ve had a lot of coaches recruiting me. They are in consideration now. There are some new schools, Oregon and Georgetown, so we’re looking into those two right now, getting into a deeper dive. Tennessee has still been interested, so we’re still seeing where we stand with that.” www.thestate.com/sports/college/university-of-south-carolina/usc-recruiting/phil-kornblut/article275094441.html"Cam Scott has been released from his National Letter of Intent (NLI) to Texas. Scott is On3’s No. 31 player in the 2024 class. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard earned South Carolina’s Gatorade State Player of the Year honors the past two seasons." www.on3.com/college/texas-longhorns/news/texas-4-star-sg-signee-cam-scott-receives-nli-release-from-longhorns/

Watching him at Capital Classic he plays like a straight up VCU or Richmond Spiders player. He is listed at 5'10" and while that may be a push he is quick, forced a lot of steals with a couple poke outs, but mostly popping the passing hand and taking off. He will do quite well in an up tempo team that doesn't focus much on half court play and pushes the other team not to get into half court offense. Every player on the USA All Stars took their shots over him or drove on him, that translates horribly for Big East play.
