AZ: Do you personally have any goals for basketball in the future?
CA: I really want to use basketball to help me get into the best university I can, and leveraging that going forward. Down the line, a big goal of mine is to work on Wall Street, so I would love to use my skills to get into a school that will put me in a position to fulfill that goal.
AZ: What life lessons have you learned from the sport?
CA: I think a big lesson I have learned from basketball is just to not look too deep into things and to get too far into your head. In certain aspects of the game, like free throws, when you overthink things, they tend to not go your way. Just take things one step at a time, and enjoy the process of getting to where you want to go.

Thanks for those Yaboy and Akinjo should like this answer -- i bet CA already knows about their close, personal ties: ExcerptAZ: Who are your favorite basketball players?
CA: (Houston Rockets shooting guard) James Harden and (Portland Trail Blazers point guard) Damian Lillard.

Last three kids the staff has signed can all handle the ball. That's 5 solid ballhandling additions in the past two years. Rim protectors first, then ball handlers. Love how the staff is not just filling needs, but adding depth as well. Love to see some lights out shooters, but hope they can be developed from guys already here.

Love this young man already! love that he has dreams and aspirations and they don't just include basketball. I hope that he comes in and put in a ton of work; he seems to have all the tools. Also believe he can learn a lot from Mackinjo. Follow your dreams young man.

Congrats to Chuma and his family! Now work your butt off in the classroom, the gym and the court. Challenge our guards to be the best.

Love this part: AZ: How has the transition to life at Choate been these past few months? CA: It’s been pretty good I’d say, and I’ve met a lot of cool people. As far as the work goes, it’s been harder, and there’s definitely more to wrap my head around. It’s been a bit challenging to follow a schedule every day, and still find time to put in enough work with basketball on top of all my school work, but overall, I’d say it’s been a good transition. It sounds like he's well prepared for college life. Hopefully he can share that experience with the other incoming freshmen he befriends.
