Hey, we're right there seemingly in the final considerations. Can't ask for more. Hopefully, Coach Pat is able to deepen his connections with RJ and his family.

Davis is down to Georgetown, Marquette, North Carolina and Pittsburgh, he told ZAGSBLOG after an open gym Monday. Pittsburgh was four deep with head coach Jeff Capel and three assistants and Georgetown was four deep with Patrick Ewing and three assistants for the run. “It means a lot, just to come out four deep, the whole coaching staff,” Davis said. “It just shows how much of a priority I am for both programs. It just means a lot.”
Georgetown: “Same message as well. They love my game, very genuine people. They feel I can play alongside James Akinjo and Mac McClung and help turn Georgetown around in the Big East.”

Then we will sit down with my family, evaluate each school and go from there.”

Is Pitt an attractive destination for a top recruit?

Is Pitt an attractive destination for a top recruit? If I had a guess I am thinking that it's more Capel than anything. He has done a pretty good job recruiting to a basement ACC team. He must be appealing to play for to some of these kids because I agree with what I believe is your sentiment that I can't see how Pitt can be that attractive to kids...

Which school(s) did he cut? I don't think he really cut any teams, his recruiting just seemed to stabilize into these four programs. Kansas, Texas, Stanford, UCLA, Vanderbilt, Florida and Louisville were other programs that offered over the summer...
