The fact that he @evandaniels in his Instagram story doesn't make me feel any more hopeful

As long as it's not Syracuse, I guess that's a good thing right?!

We still a highly athletic 3/4. Who is in the pipeline?
It is a bit frustrating to see coaches put so much effort in, and wind up losing out. As some said, next! Who is that?

Jermontae Hill out of Georgia. 3 star SF, formerly top 100 guy that recently fell of in the rankings but is having a strong senior year. Also Darius Miles, DMV kid, but he's not hyper athletic. Also maybe Kahlil Whitney? He's rumored to prefer going to the pros rather than transfer, but since the NCAA is considering a change to the transfer rule that might impact his decision. We may already have someone to fill what you're looking for in Jamari Sibley tbh. Could use more athleticism on the wings though.

Maybe I was the only one who was worried about his strengths of playing in transition. I think we need someone who is ready to contribute in the half court and in defense.

I like having Sibley in the fold. The 6-10 forwards Patrick Tape,or Seth Townsfrom the Ivy League would be helpful.

This is a loss in that we dedicated a lot of resources to recruiting this kid over the last couple years. But no recruit is make or break, even the number one overall draft pick. We are recruiting kids with the right mindset and with noticeable chips on their shoulders. From day one they'll come to campus ready to prove themselves.
2020 might not be the dream class we all wanted, but you can see Ewing is giving this job everything he has. Sooner or later he will be rewarded for his efforts.

I’m just glad it’s not Seton Hall. Perhaps the scholarship is better served for a transfer. Still hurts but not a crushing blow.

He wasn’t going to be a Hoya. Still wish him well and am happy for the young man.

I'm so glad this is over with, I thought I was gonna hurt a few feelings the other day when I read one of EtomicB's post. I wanted to comment soo bad but it would've been all negative going into the final stages of his announcement. To be honest and this is not because he went elsewhere, the last game I seen him play he lacked defense, all of his points came off of dunks and I never seem him shoot from beyond the arc. Sure he has incredible bounce and four stars but no substance to dignify that ranking. One game does not make me an evaluator of true talent but that was a tournament game and I for one was not impressed!

Let's move on to a PF transfer that can assist our bigs mature into junkyard centers!
