Is Blair suited on the bench? He saw about a minute of PT in the 2nd He isn’t listed as entering the game.

Every team we play looks more organized and runs better offensive sets than we do. Our offense looks very good tonight (except for a few rushed shots). Our defense has been putrid.

Wow and Ewing just sits there and says nothing while Akinjo is forcing shots up 9 and 20+ seconds on the clock...

Richmond only scored more than 78 once all year, and that was when they were home with their top two players healthy against St Francis of Brooklyn. We have a lot to improve on in December or conference play is going to be loooong.

Richmond out of bounds defense pretty sad there, thankfully.

Just not sure how much this defense can be fixed -- not many good defenders. We have to keep improving on offense and try to win horseraces.

Every team we play looks more organized and runs better offensive sets than we do. Running plays against man defense is a heck of a lot easier than the zones we’ve been seeing. I thought we actually had good zone offense in general, we just can’t play defense, like at all. Even if we have one or 2 solid defenders, we are bad defensively as a team. We’re clearly a man only team, I haven’t seen us play zone and I don’t expect us to ever play zone so that’s the struggle. You can see why Ewing has gone after long, athletic shot blockers. Something this team sorely needs.

I think that game was a great stepforward, and one of our best half-court offensive games. Great ball movement and passing.
Defense needs quite a bit of work however.

The fact we’ve only beaten one team (1-6 UMES) by more than 8 points against this schedule is probably indicative that we aren’t capable of a complete game (yet) and frankly tells me we just aren’t that good. 6-1 is all good and well, but given all the new metrics use scoring margin and effeciency scores, we’ve got a lot of work to do before thinking postseason play.
