Josh is a fantastic player who keeps getting better. It’s a joy to watch him. I really hope he continues to start but he will likely get a ton of minutes regardless. And he’s less than two months into his playing career and he’s already my favorite player. I can't think of a solid argument to not have him start. I'm not usually one that worries all that much about who starts as opposed to who's playing the most and most important minutes but I also think it's important to set a tone early in a game. There isn't a player on this team that can do that better than Josh. Big block, dunk, steal, board... he's THAT dude. IMO, even if it causes other shifts in the starting lineup to accommodate, he needs to be there for the tip.

3 of the 4 freshman have now earned this honor. Grayson obviously doesn't get the minutes yet to challenge for these accolades but his opportunities will come in the future...

LeBlanc is my favorite player on this team, and possibly my favorite Hoya in years. He's worth paying to go to a game to see in person. Great effort on both ends of the court, and he seems to just get better as he gets more comfortable with the college game. I can't wait to continue watching him develop.

I love a guy who takes particular pride in tip-in putbacks, as you can tell JL does. If we kept a separate stat for tip-backs, Josh would reign supreme. He

What I noticed about Josh is his composure. He epitomizes "be quick but don't hurry." Example, when he gets the ball in the lane I notice he doesn't rush a shot if he has defenders on his back. He waits and/or fakes, clearing space for a layup or putback as the case may be.

Agree with all of the above but he does seem to have lost some confidence in his FTs. Based upon his earlier production at the FT line it is hopefully just temporary.

Hard to envision, at this early point, Josh not making the BE all-freshman team. He might be a double-double machine in the league with extended minutes.

He's our best player and should be treated as such. Best rebounder and defender on the team by far. Offensive efficiency is great.

Hard to envision, at this early point, Josh not making the BE all-freshman team. He might be a double-double machine in the league with extended minutes. He should be a shoe-in, though you don't have to go that far back to see that Otto Porter was passed over for inexplicable reasons. So, you never know!
