Something that I doubt made the broadcast of the Mount Saint Mary's game: At halftime, with the team down by 12, when they came out for warmups and made their way into the layup line, LeBlanc moved to the center of the formation and waited for Mac to get closer. He gestured to him and Mac dropped out of the line and came over. LeBlanc put a hand up to cover his mouth in the manner of when football coaches are calling plays and don't want the camera to allow their lips to be read. He and Mac had about a 60 second private conversation that way with Josh doing almost all of the talking. From my perspective it sure seemed like a pep talk and some encouraging words, and at the end Mac nodded decisively, they exchanged hand slaps, Mac moved off with a bounce in his step and Josh went down the layup line exchanging high-fives and fist bumps with the rest of the team. Great to see him with a good attitude and acting as a player-coach despite the suspension, and also great to see his teammates appreciating the effort. Thanks for sharing. Leblanc surprised me with the strength of his leadership from early in the season last year. I am not surprised that it showed up last night..

As a parent we’ll see always meant NO. Ha. Well sometimes it meant "as long as you don't screw up again between now and then". Agreed

Yeah I believe they are roommates. Either way they are very close.

Josh is awesome!! Has to play 25 plus minutes a game. We'll need his defensive mobility against Texas guards. I don't think are guards can defend without getting into foul trouble.

While this was a team win, for sure, and lots of people did great things, I truly think LeBlanc is the linchpin that brings it all together. We are just better with him on the floor. We are lucky to have him.

LeBlanc had the highest O rating last night (not saying he was the most effective offensive player, but he was good and didn’t make many mistakes). I am glad he got more minutes than in the Texas game, but 24 still isn’t enough for what could be our best and most consistent player game to game.
I realize it sounds like I am President of the LeBlanc fan club (and I do really like him), but I really feel strongly that he hasn’t been playing enough. Again, I am not saying it would have changed our outcome last night or against Penn State but I really think it’s necessary in tougher games.

Seems to me that several times last night, he was either walking gingerly or nursing his side/lower back area. Just wondering if he is 100%?

He had 4 blocks and a Batman dunk....if he’s not 100% he is pretty darn close.

He looked a little gimpy after diving to save a ball, then again after getting fouled hard. Just one of the hazards of the job when you work as hard as Josh does.

Needs to be better with the ball as Draymond can run point forward...Josh is no where near ready for that. But like Draymond, Josh is a beast on defense and is pretty darn near automatic when he has the ball in deep post position.

I won't be happy until he starts. Does he have a nagging injury or something? Seem to remember somebody said something about a hip issue at one point. I just don't see why Ewing wouldn't be playing him full minutes or starting if there was nothing else going on. I don't think this disciplinary issue, whatever that was, has any bearing at this point - the 1 game suspension was served and perhaps not starting the next game or 2 but not now. Ewing has to know he's the most athletic player on the floor, on either team, in almost every. single. game. I was completely perplexed after not starting him in the PSU game, and now after these 2 MSG games there just has to be something else going on.
