Figure it out, Joe as WV sucks at the tit of the federal government. Maybe White grievance politics fit your state which overwhelming voted for the sociopath but damn, you're a hypocrite. That phrase — “entitlement society” — has become something of a battle cry for the senior senator from West Virginia as he works to slash the Democrats’ $3.5 trillion domestic spending package to less than half its size. Not surprising from a senator who hails from a state that presents itself as fiercely self-reliant. But in fact, West Virginians are not only older, sicker and poorer than most of the nation; they are, by some measures, more reliant on the federal government than any other state. According to statistics compiled by the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis, about 32 percent of West Virginians’ personal income last year came in the form of transfer payments — that is, government checks that include retirement and disability benefits, medical benefits, welfare payments, veterans benefits, unemployment compensation and education and training assistance. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2021/10/26/manchin-warns-that-bidens-agenda-would-create-an-entitlement-society-his-state-leads-way/

The terms should be listed synonyms in any thesaurus.

One thing is not like the other and no reasonable person could possibly equate the level of hypocrisy on the Dems side with that of the Republicans. Whataboutism is dead. Trump killed it. We all lose.

I draw no comparisons and make no equivalencies.
My position is that all, repeat all, politicians are hypocrites.
Funny how my comment about DC politicians sent you right to Trump.

Youngkin ran on racism and he won. If that makes you want to celebrate, I find that exceedingly sad.

Critical race theory certainly played a role. I’d say Glen ran on education, defending parents, tax reform, creating jobs… But if you wanna keep painting everything you don’t like as racism feel free to do so. It’s a losing strategy.

The Republican candidate for Governor won 50.68% of the vote. The Republican candidate for Lt. Governor won 50.84% of the vote. Was her campaign more racist?

This was going to be my next point Dallas thanks for pointing that out. Virginia voters must be really bad at this racism thing.

I don't know what "losing strategy" means. But, we both know that when you stated, "education," and, "defending parents," we're talking about critical race theory.

I’m sure you would contend CRT is completely made up though right? In regards to the losing strategy, the Democrat tactic of labeling everything and everyone they disagree with as racist is clearly not a winning one. Not sure how they expect to win any votes with that strategy so I’ll be partially happy (but still mostly disturbed) when they continue to step on that rake.
