Best of luck to him. Mature young man. Appreciated how well he came across in post-game interviews. Could score around the rim, hit those short jumpers, and board with the best. Thanks for your time on the hilltop

There are some head scratching paragraphs about playing time and usage (author writes as if he didn’t know Omer was injured, though in a tweet he claims he did know), but overall pretty high praise.

That is one of the dumbest most non informed articles I’ve ever read. Just a couple of the most foolish points. To act like the #6 player in high school is presumed to be the #6 pick is silly. He acts like the NBA draft only takes guys 1 year removed from high school. He wildly claims that OY is now on the NBA radar! OY has been on the NBA radar for 5-6 years. OY was likely a late 1st/early 2nd the year he left N.C. State. Now he’s in the maybe will be drafted category. Did RJ cost himself some $ going to Australia? Maybe maybe not. Isaiah Stewart was ranked higher than RJ coming out of HS and will likely get drafted lower. Scottie Lewis who was ranked right below RJ is going back to school.
Are we sure this writer isn’t just a NCAA talking head. That would be the only way this article makes sense.

His upside is too high for a team in the 2nd round to pass him up. I definitely think he gets drafted.

Omer deserves it. Is he the best PnR defender? No but he is adequate and his offensive skills more then make up for his deficiencies. Hopefully he's been in a gym during the lockdowns and has added a bit more weight in his bottom. Plus a bit more aggressiveness protecting the rim.

He's the most stable BIG in the draft meaning you know what you will get from him. He's bust proof if taken towards the end of the first round and anywhere in the 2nd. Tailor made for a 10 plus year career.
