Haven't watched much of Harris, but he's got a DSR build. Game seems a bit similar, too. A little more athleticism, a little less shooting and overall creativity offensively. Is that about right? More cut up and a hella lot quicker and faster than DSR.

Corey Evans @coreyevans_10 Louisville has offered Rivals150 junior four star guard Anthony Harris @howielindsey Are all these offers Louisville is making now for kids that Xavier had already offered? Mack does not seem to be wasting any time, even though the school has not officially given him the job yet!!!

He did speak back, but he gave me that look like I'm coming at the DMV hard! I saw this last night! Maryland as well.

Boy that is a bummer. VT and Ohio State I can understand, but please don't go to freaking UMCP, that place is a dump.
I hope saying those 4 are standing out isn't because the Hoyas aren't giving him the full court press, that would be a big mistake.

SPOILER ALERT: We aren't one of the 4. While we might not be at the top of his list now, I hope the staff is really working hard on him, and players like him. A highly rated local player at a position we need help, needs to be getting a lot of love from the staff, all the time. Working really hard on these guys does not mean the Hoyas are going to land all of them, but Georgetown needs to start getting some of these good local players.

We have been to 1 Final Four in the last 33 years and that was 11 years ago. Our brand has suffered greatly and many others have risen.

While a lot of people on this board think that Coach Ewing should be able to turn around everything over night, it is likely to take some time and a lot of hard work to build those relationships. Programs like Virginia and Maryland, while many on the board hate those programs, are still big time local programs and play in major conferences and some local recruits may just connect better with them than the Georgetown staff. The biggest thing is to keep working hard at these local kids and to find a way to get a few of them, then win a few games, get in the tournament and suddenly the brand starts looking pretty good again!!!

I remember stating when Hagans became available that we shouldn’t be spending too much time chasing pipe dreams when there were local players to focus on and more importantly relationships to build. I hope we didn’t miss out on a kid because some other kid that was never coming to Georgetown took away time and resources.
