In all seriousness where does this one rank in all-time embarrassing losses? Just checked the Hoya game notes. We lost to #2 Marquette 88-44 in 1971, back in the Al McGuire Era. Haven't had a worse loss, point-wise, since then. EDIT: This game winds up not being even close to that one.

We have almost as many TO's as made field goals. I knew this year would be tough. It's just hard to live through it. True.

We really, really need to recruit a guard. Not necessarily one who can shoot. Just one with some talent. Wings too.. Well, Coach Ewing did say we needed everything. lol

POST DELETED - CUT OUT THE PROFANITY III inherited far more talent than Patrick has with this group. A 12-0 run to end the game averts the worst loss in 111 years. Instead, it's only the second worst home game ever. Learn and improve.

Brunson knows more than the coaching staff including Jay Wright. Well, Wright said it.

I know this isn't the right place. But my goodness the entirety of the $hitshow we see on the court right now falls squarely on JTIII. What did this man see in the players he recruited? How he single-handedly managed to take the program from where it was (top 10 for 7 straight years) to this is utterly baffling.. We are looking at a 3-4 year rebuild because Reid was too much of a pu$$y to fire him about 5 years ago.

Coach, practice those 3's! I think we do practice them. If you can't shoot, you can't shoot. Our best 3 pt shooters are also are our big men. That says it all right there.

For this program to be relevant again, Ewing has to be better than JTIII. Losses like tonight puts the Ewing hire in doubt. Your opinion of the Ewing hire has never been in doubt.

Understand, but Gtown has front-court size and back court size on Nova, which leads me to believe if the game was played at a slower pace the score differential would not be so great. Even St. Johns put up a better fight against Nova on Saturday. Whereas with the team size of Kentucky and Duke, even if the game was slowed down the point differential would be the same, only the total number of points scored in the game would change. Villanova only shot 43.4% against St. John's; they're about 20 percentage points higher tonight. I take that info as Mullin game planned better to stop them. Look at the numbers of this game. Gtown made 5 goals more in the game 22 than Nova made from the 3pt line 17. You defend this effort?

The fact that the 2015 class of freshmen flamed out really killed us, especially considering how good we all thought they would be. They were great on paper. Glad Peak worked out.

Do you think players want to come here? There is plenty of opportunity to win playing time and national exposure. How does a coach deal with what we are witnessing, with so many games to go? I'm perplexed, the players are showing what they have.

We still would have faced the same problem as III's better teams....early exits in the NCAA's. Forward heavy teams without the quickness and enough guards to make a dent in the NCAA's.
