Thanks, but I already said that he started most of the season but he didn't start at the beginning of the season (He started 23 out of 31 games) and he didn't start because Mac started at the shooting guard position. He subsequently at some point in the season moved over to the small forward position. The link provided shows he started the first 7 games of the season and 16 of the first 17 games (I believe the one non-start was disciplinary but that's pushing my memory). He didn't start the last 5 games of the season. These are facts it shouldn't be this much of a debate. If you want to argue that Mac took his opportunities in the offense, well sure that's a subjective argument that's reasonable. But please some facts have to be facts. He started to begin the season with Mac and Akinjo

He started to begin the season with Mac and Akinjo I'm not pushing for Mac. I am a big Pickett fan and I did see that the log showed that Pickett started. My memory must be foggy and that I can admit to that but I could have sworn that he and Blair started on the bench. I say that because, back then, I was puzzled as to why both Pickett and Blair were on the bench but was okay with it since it was Mac and Akinjo. But anyways, if that what it says then it obviously true. I do know that Pickett was playing the guard spot and when Mac came in, Pickett had to give up that position and maybe I got that confused with I thought was him losing his starting role to Mac.

Yeah, I am watching the game between Duke and Georgetown on Youtube; it's a November 2019 game. The starting lineup then was Pickett Mac Akinjo Yurt Mosley

So you're actually off a year in that this was Pickett's junior season and Mac's sophomore season. At this point Pickett was moved to PF and it was the fun "what did Josh LeBlanc do wrong" part of that truly terrible season, with the UNC G game next and then departures afterward. Either way we're veering off topic. Happy Pickett has carved out a role and is talking so positively about his Gtown experience w Ewing.

No no no, I was talking about the 2018 season so I wasn't off a year. I was just pointing out that you are right that, even though it is later that 2018 - 2019 season, Pickett was in fact playing alongside Mac and Akinjo in the starting lineup. I know that I might have cause some confusion by picking a later part of the 2018 - 2019 season to show that but I was just trying to say that you were right, that's all. Also, I did find a December 2018 game on Youtube where Pickett did in fact start right alongside Mac and Akinjo against Syracuse. As to "Happy Pickett has carved out a role and is talking so positively about his Gtown experience w Ewing.", me too. I want nothing but the best for Pickett and the Georgetown program. Glad you enjoyed the game and we had those suckers but we let it slip away. Great game though, even though I watched it from home. Yeah, let's get back to cheering on our beloved Hoyas!

Playing great in 1st half vs Knicks. 7 points 4 board on 3 of 3 shooting. Had another 3 wiped out by an offensive foul underneath basket.

He is going to make the Pistons opening day roster I think and maybe be in the rotation at this point. He is playing really well in this game also.

So happy for Pickett. Announcers loved him and of course mentioned the great job Coach Ewing is doing at Georgetown.

Pistons played 10 guys more than 15 minutes each and Pickett got a DNP-CD. But he’s in the League

And the G League schedule doesn't start til November, so, the 2-way guys are usually on the NBA bench for the first couple weeks of the NBA season.

But he's there. Picking up valuable information and experience in the professional culture.

You absolutely love to see it. I was hoping someone captured this cause I saw him in the highlights suited up on the bench. I just got choked up watching that like he was my own son.

Well he is getting his first taste if the NBA is a buisness. He is not coming into a blowout, im guessing the exhibit 10 has a games limit and it becomes a guaranteed contract after a certain point
Edit, nevermind in now. But that game was over for awhile to give him 1:20 at the end was worthless.
