The early schedule has honestly been tough to really enjoy as a fan. I agree with those who have pointed out that there is a substantial difference between playing teams in the 150-250 range and then literally playing multiple of the ten worst teams in the country. I feel now much like I did before the Maine game--it's impossible to tell anything about the team we have from this game. That said, I appreciate that so far we have handled these games. Georgia Tech lost last night to Grambling on an odd play. Games like that show that you can't really take an opponent for granted, and I hope we don't tomorrow night. Right now it's only important that the coaching staff has learned about the team, and themselves. What we have or haven't learned, or figured out, means next to nothing. That doesn't change the fact that "the early schedule has honestly been tough to really enjoy as a fan". If your position is that as a fan, our enjoyment of the product is irrelevant...not gonna agree. Without our support, there is no high major D1 hoops program.

This year is unique however. I'm willing to sacrifice my enjoyment of a competitive OOC schedule for long term results, which I believe is the compromise the staff intends.

Losing to Maryland, Arkansas state, Wisconsin and OK state was really tough to enjoy as a fan as well. And nobody was jumping for joy last year when we lost to those "tough" opponents.

1st 4 minutes of the game and Coppin St getting completely open looks, their just missing. Really struggling guarding the 3

Hoyas up 28-23 with 4 minutes remaining in the 1st half but Coppin St could easily be up 8 to 10 points if they could have converted on many of their uncontested 3s or missed layups.

While I am optimistic about the future, this is the worst undefeated team in America.

For a winless team Coppin St. is playing the Hoyas tough.

Why is Gtown allowing Coppin State to dictate tempo like this?

Although Coppin seems to have more overall team size they don't have anyone to handle Govan, he's dominating

Our main lineup should be Govan and anyone who can defend.

The Hoyas defensive effort is again lacking as they are not guarding the perimeter well and they are not fighting through the screens. Kalebs shot is not there tonight. Only Govan and Pickett, plus high energy from Walker.

37-27 GU at the half. Govan unstoppable so far with I believe 16 and 8. Pickett played well offensively, not so much guarding the perimeter. Mulmore forcing way too much like last season for my liking but I guess his aggressiveness is a good thing.... I guess.
Antwan Walker with his best action to date, excellent post move for a bucket and an offensive rebound and put back.
