If he is spotted at this press conference, that would be a very bad sign.

If he is spotted at this press conference, that would be a very bad sign. He’s a former player and student. Is he not allowed to be there?

He's a failure. I can't buy in, financially or otherwise, with Ronny still around. Obviously a personal decision on my part- but that man has no business collecting a check from the university and/or being involved in anything related to the program. It's embarrassing.

He was a member of a basketball staff that failed more than any other Georgetown staff over the last 50 years. No, he does not belong there. And thankfully, there are no reports he was there, so that's a very good sign. I have no problem with Ronny--someday, but not now--participating in alumni events, etc. But it should be as a former player attending an event. Not a Thompson with special access, connections, etc. He doesn't deserve anything more than that.

When asked about his staff, Cooley said something to the effect that they would be the hardest working staff, and that if anyone wasn't the hardest worker, they'd no longer be part of the staff.
Assume if he hasn't already been run out of the building, that statement alone would disqualify him from staying. Personally, I'm not worrying about him anymore.

Engaging, refreshing, and relentlessly optimistic: something missing for years inside that building.
For players that didn't attend, including Brandon Murray and Qudus Wahab, that sends a signal to the coach. I'm sure he noted it.

I saw a tweet about Denver being there.

If Ed is allowing him to stay, I am guessing Ed is telling him what he's expecting of him. So for this reason, I am not worried.
