This kid is like Malcolm Wilson, alot of great things you can use in 2020 basketball for a big. The question would be can you have 2 of the on a roster. I say no.

I just love the idea of a player who puts out a defensive highlight video. (Usually that means they don’t have enough offensive highlights)

(Usually that means they don’t have enough offensive highlights) I get it, but how many videos have you seen that have absolutely no defensive highlight? He actually had a bunch of offensive highlights in the 2nd half of the video.

we're not currently a lineup that can take sleepers who've only been playing the game for less than 2 years
i mean, we could use a 4/5 type, but not this kid at this time.
As a July 2021 pickup after a late roster spot opens...? sure.

Good to see us offer 2021 PG Darius Johnson from Episcopal. Not ranked right now but recently offered by Alabama and Florida after having received offers from Wake and Seton Hall in the spring. Recruitment trending upwards. Some highlights from a game last year: Recruitment: Final three of Alabama, Providence and UCF (where his father Kelvin is Director of Player Development). Why his stock is rising: We have talked for a while about the lack of depth in the 2021 point guard class, but Johnson has done all he can to help fix that. Whether it be combines or with his summer team, Johnson has produced every step of the way. He's tough attacking the rim, plays with patience and is a serious competitor who gets so much done. He's another who deserves discussion to be in at least the top 100. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/bossi-s-best-2021-summer-stock-boosters

Hoyas never had a chance. Coach needs to build the program to the point where kids like Keels will be seriously intereted.

Recruiting news has certainly seemed to slow down over the last few weeks. Is this a period when the coaches can't be in contact with recruits? Or is the staff just working quietly behind the scenes, which seems to be when they do their best work?
