All the new prospects are 1-4s, no mention of big cats. Is that because of any immenint expectation Mutombo signing? When might that happen? Does anyone know?

Inferred that Georgetown has been in regular contact with Jaden Hardy "One program that is also making a major push at Hardy is UCLA. Mick Cronin has been in contact several times as has Cronin’s top-rated commit, Peyton Watson. “He [Watson] has been texting me and he wants me to join him at UCLA.”Not sure how much gas is in the tank for GU to make a push for him, but also it seems the predictions is pushing more towards UK. Then again, crootin' is unpredictable to say the least.

Brian Snow just put a crystal ball in for Brandon Weston to Seton Hall at a very high confidence level. This is good news for us, as he plays the exact same position as Jakai Robinson (2/3) who appears to be the other major competition for his services.
Miami and NC State are also involved but we have been on him the longest for sure. Miami is an interesting option since they always do well landing DMV talent, but they have Earl Timberlake at the position who will likely be there for more than one year as well as Matt Cross. NC State seems to need more help on the wings so they could be in a good position as well. Unclear where we stand relative to those schools, but fingers crossed as I really like Robinson's game and love the fact that he's a local kid.

Don’t get your hopes up for Malachi. Not happening.

Don’t get your hopes up for Malachi. Not happening. That is too bad. I really liked his game and his toughness. Thought he would be a really good fit for the program. I guess we will see who the program identifies as the next priority recruit

Don’t get your hopes up for Malachi. Not happening. He's a nice player to be sure, but with Beard, Riley and Dante all set to be on the roster in 2021 (along with Carey who can play some point), I really don't view this as a need, and we are short on scholarships as it is (assuming Mutombo is coming). So, even if Malachi wanted to come, I don't think we could take him, and thus I suspect both parties have moved on. I think all eggs for the final spot are in the Aminu Mohammed basket (yes, I believe we will have one additional scholarship even if we sign Mutombo). If we strike out on Aminu, we go after Jakai (or whoever commits first gets that last scholarship).

Agree...but backup consideration may be given to either the combo guard from La..or the 6'8 forward from NC, as both appear to be coming on strong...

Hearing Mizzou/Provy are the leads here. Don’t believe we’re heavily involved with Billingsley in the fold now.

24/7 updated rankings for 2021:
Riley - 181 (prev 227) Beard - 166 (215) Billingsley - 208 (155)
some other notables: J Robinson - 61 (62) Mutombo - 71 (36) Q Allen - 108 (57) Khalil Brantley - 224 (247) Nisine Poplar - rated 87 by 24/7, which doesn't put him among their ranked players -- but #155 overall on the composite ranking B Murray - 241 (258) Emareyon McDonald - rated 86/unranked - #239 on composite Legend Geeter - rated 87/unranked -- #243 on composite Camryn Carter - unrated/unranked by 24/7
not gonna bother w/ Holmgren, Baldwin, Mohammed, Reid... you know where they are

I just love the idea of a player who puts out a defensive highlight video.
