Jaden House reclassing to ‘20 per twitter and wants to make a decision soon. Originally a member of the class of ‘20 at Henrico High School (Henrico, VA). He transferred to Middleburg Academy and reclassified to the class of ‘21. Now reclassifying again to original class of 2020. |

I take this as Walton notifying Coach Ewing that he's not coming and Coach making his next move to get House as a plan B/C. Also don't see why he would reclass to 2020 if it's not to come here. Those other 2020 offers aren't particularly great I do like his game and his toughness. Intriguing player imo |

House was allegedly primed to blow up this summer. Won’t get the chance now that he’s 2020, but if he does end up here I would not interpret this as the Hoyas took an unranked kid with zero real offers.

I really like House's game and I think he is a great second option to Walton. Get him in the crowded backcourt and see what he can do. If Mac comes back, we won't need much from House in 2020, but he could be a really good player in the coming years. |

I think if you were excited about Brandon Murray, you should be excited about House. Agree. Both are true SGs, which we need. We still could use a true PF. A kid who can rebound, defend and score. Not an out of position SF. |

He scored around the basket. As for Murray, half of his points come from 3s. That’s why I liked Murray. How good is House from 3? Any stats out there? |

I think if you were excited about Brandon Murray, you should be excited about House. This is a pretty bad comp for level and style of play. Jaden's style is more along the lines of Mac than Brandon but not as athletic. If he comes here I wouldn't expect much from him early is his career. |

I don't think it's ever a great sign when the player doesn't look like the best player on their own highlight reel. I don’t think it’s a good sign we keep offering kids who aren’t even ranked by major recruiting services. I get the rankings are subjective, but at some point there is a basis for what they do. If we want to take a flier on a kid every year like this (Sodom, Igohefe, Harris) that’s ok. But multiple kids in the same class just feels like we are really reaching when no other major offers are there. |

We are offering highly ranked kids, they’re just not biting. It would be great to land a top recruit, as they could help land others. Winning also helps, but that’s a bit of a Catch-22.
