Jagan has my green light to shoot the three anytime he wants to! Has had my green light for a very long time. Hope he and Coach are listening.

There's no doubt about it. Jagan has elevated his game big time. He has confidence in his shot and is being more aggressive, that has helped the team!

Has had my green light for a very long time. Hope he and Coach are listening. I think he has a green light. But he has a somewhat deliberate shot, needs to be pretty open to get it off, which limits his opportunities.

Jagan has worked so hard to become a consistent shooter from outside, now injuries to his arm have diminished that part of his game, and opponents are sagging and taking away his driving.
Still a warrior.

Still a warrior. You hope they can somehow pull a rabbit out of their hat and get to the tourney just for him. What a shame if he doesn't go. You'd almost hope he could transfer on selection Sunday to a team that made it and be granted immediate eligibility. What could be more of a "hardship" then dealing with this season? Seriously, though, it was physically painful to watch him last night.

On that fall it almost looked like he was grabbing his shoulder before he even hit the ground, which I think is worse. When he took that 3 point shot and his shoulder just didn't have it and it landed 5 feet short I felt awful. The kid deserves so much better than he's gotten.

Still a warrior. Injuries to his arm? That’s an exaggeration. I was at the game and kept watching to see how he moved his arm because we needed more 3-pt shooting. After the hard fall, he kept his arm by the side on the next defensive sequence. A time-out was called shortly thereafter. He went back to the bench without favoring that arm. He had full movement the rest of the game. That said, he was physically roughed up during the game. The arm to the chest was a foul, the foul on the 3 the correct call, Cooley brilliantly had their defense attack our perimeter offense and the airball 3 was bad. As Pat said, they ran out of steam. Jagan et al. met the physical wall last night after playing so much the last few weeks. After all the press about how great it was to play 40 mpg, reality set in. I bet they hadn’t experienced anything like it in their athletic career before last night. Finally, we have a team of warriors. Rest, study and get ready for DePaul. I like that they stay over there and go to Marquette instead of coming back and forth. More rest opportunities...

Proud of this young man. It was hard to see him bent over, trying to catch his breath and yes, favoring his arm during each stoppage in play in the 2nd half. He got hammered last night and did his best to contribute but it just wasn't there.

We should all be thankful that we can call him a Hoya. I hope he reaches, and exceeds, all of this goals in his basketball career and his life after basketball!! The work ethic and mental toughness he shows will serve him well!!!

Jagan has become my favorite Hoya of at least the last decade. It is awful to watch him get roughed up so much, and not just in this game.

He should get a loud and appreciative reception at Senior Day. Will be a tough player to replace — embodies everything I want to see in a Hoya. A great example of why it is important to recruit leaders and high character players. Guys who step up when things get tough.

Pretty sure there was some indication he hurt the wrist a game or two ago, then the arm was clearly in pain last night. In any event, Jiggy is 100% warrior. He will give us everything he's got.

Jagan was really disappointed when the horn sounded last night. Dave L. spent a good 30 seconds with him at the end of the handshake line - repeatedly tapping him on the chest. Not surprising that other Big East coaches recognize what Jagan has been through and that he will almost certainly come up short again this year. Of course I have no idea what was actually said, but I feel a little differently about DL after that exchange - can’t imagine it was anything other than recognizing a super hard-working and well-liked 4 year Big East player.

If we had 10 or even 5, kids with Jagan's heart and his motor . . .

If we had 10 or even 5, kids with Jagan's heart and his motor . . . Love what Jagan brought this year but we need more than Jagan’s heart and motor...specifically someone who can create his own shot while staying healthy.
