www.prepcircuit.com/news_article/show/975933A Big East program could be the next to receive an official visit from Johnson. “I’m not really sure yet, but I probably want to get down to Georgetown for an official soon,” he said. “Other than that I still have a little bit of time.” Johnson is intrigued with the history Georgetown has and the amount he can learn from head coach Patrick Ewing. “Just the history they have, being able to learn from one of the greats in Patrick Ewing would be huge because he has experience in the NBA,” Johnson said. “They have a lot of knowledge and I’ll be able to pick their brains.”

It's still early but I would have thought Gtown would get a mention as a school keeping close contact...
Coleman stated that Florida, Kansas, LSU, NC State, Oklahoma State, Vanderbilt Virginia, and Virginia Tech were just a group of those that have kept in close contact with him throughout the past several months.

Georgetown: “Just the history. Being able to learn from one of the greats, Patrick Ewing, that would be huge, with his experience in the NBA. Coach (Louis) Orr played at Syracuse, just a lot of knowledge there and being able to pick their brains.”

Rivals has updated its top 125, Hoyas targets: 8 Isaiah Todd 13 Jaden Springer 16 Jeremy Roach 17 Hunter Dickinson 18 Jaemyn Brakefield 24 Earl Timberlake 25 Johnny Juzang 32 Jabri Abdur-Rahim 49 Mark Williams 55 Che Evans 64 Woody Newton 66 Elijah Wood 73 Henry Coleman 83 Terrance Williams 93 Justin Lewis 100 Darius Miles 117 Myles Stute 120 Chuck Harris n.rivals.com/prospect_rankings/rivals150/2020Dickinson dominated another tournament this weekend. Hard to believe our head coach can't get this local, old-school big man to give the Hoyas a sniff: WAXAHACHIE, Texas -- Five-star junior Hunter Dickinson is throwback big man capable of putting a team on his shoulders. For a while, the space eating seven-footer did just that while scoring 18 points and grabbing 16 rebounds to help Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha to a come from behind win over a very good Denton (Texas) Guyer team at the ARS Rescue Rooter National Hoopfest. In today's game, you just don't see many true back to the basket bigs like Dickinson and he's confident that there's always room for a big and tough bucket getter in the low post. "I think there's always going to be, especially now that there's not any, need for a back to the basket big who can dominate on the block.," Dickinson told Rivals.com. "I think I'm more versatile, I can shoot the three and play more facing up on offense. But, my team needs me to be a dominant player on the block because we have good players on the wings and I'm playing my role on the team so we can win. "Defensively, in screens I want to get to where I can get switched onto guards and stay in front of them for a few seconds." basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/ars-rescue-rooter-national-hoopfest-five-star-hunter-dickinson-shines

Woody Newton is a stud and slept on nationally. Let's get him. No way Evans is better.

We gotta recruit the area if we wanna be good we really really do. We have to pull our share of recruits. Curious how this plays out in the coming years. Alot of schools have raided the area.
