My new favorite team, Howard Bisons. I will be going to their games if we get a season. I pray more and more top kids go to HBCU's.

VICTOR MURESAN, 6TH MAN WARRIORS MD 17U The Georgetown Day (DC) 2020 center was active and productive in a Saturday morning game against Southern Maryland Heat, posting 20 points in a 68-43 victory. “[My strengths are] Probably my blocking shots, and recently I’ve been working on taking the ball up the court and more dribbling,” he said. “And running to the basket; like, today that’s how I had most of my points, just in transition and running court to court.” The son of 7-foot-7 ½ former NBA player Gheorge Muresan - who coaches his 6th Man team - Victor Muresan is 6-foot-10, 185 pounds and plays with good energy. He’s looking forward to putting together a breakout senior season at Georgetown Day under new coach Carl Parker, who took the job this summer. “It’s been going good,” Muresan said of the coaching transition. “At first it was a little rough, but now we’re really picking up and we’re really listening to the coach and that’s good. I think we’re all starting to buy into his philosophies and ideas of basketball.” www.dmvelite.com/news_article/show/1034210In 2020, we find out about walk-ons from Zoom screenshots. Sounds about right.

Listed as a 6'10 190lb PF. If he throws some weight on, could be a nice option a few years down the line. At the very least, good practice player. Maybe Lic should check his growth plates too.

There's a couple videos of him on youtube if you're curious. Seems like a great guy to have on the team and maybe in a couple years could sub in if we're in a pinch.

Definitely taller than Georgie Jr, but reed thin. Duane Spencer/Lee Scruggs physique vibes. If he's anything like his dad & bro, he'll be a great addition to the program. Congrats & (belated) welcome Victor!

Hoya ALL TIME THIN TEAM?
Duane Spencer for sure & Scruggs is a nice call. I will throw in the best thin player Reggie Williams & Charles Harrison at G. Cannot think of a 5th super thin off the top of my head.

Maybe we should set up a Muresan family walk on seat.

MarJon Beauchamp is one of the most promising young basketball stars from the state of Washington, known as one of the most productive states in the country for churning out NBA talent. Beauchamp played his junior year at Rainier Beach and is considered the highest-ranked recruit from Washington's 2020 class, according to ESPN. The 18-year-old is one of the most sought-after college prospects in the nation and has amassed more than 12 offers from Division I schools with elite basketball programs, including UCLA, University of Arizona, USC, Oregon State, Texas, Georgetown, Alabama, and University of Washington.
After numerous collegiate offers and careful consideration of all available options, MarJon and his father, JonMarc Beauchamp, said their decision was based on what was best for MarJon. "I'm genuinely humbled by all the interest and offers I received by some great schools. Although they were tough to turn down, I believe the Chameleon BX program provides the kind of personalized attention I need to get my body and game properly prepared for pursuing my dream of a career in the NBA," said MarJon. His Father added, "Frank Matrisciano's proven ability to transform athletes, combined with the skills training provided by his accomplished NBA coaching staff is simply a far better option for MarJon than a one-and-done year at college, or any of the other paths we considered before making our decision." MarJon Beauchamp, the former No. 55 overall prospect in the 2020 Top150, is reconsidering college opportunities after opting to take this season to train for the NBA Draft, he tells 247Sports. "Just like the covid reasons," Beauchamp told 247Sports of the reason behind his shift. "I talked to some scouts and they said they needed some film so I thought about going back to school and playing." 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/MarJon-Beauchamp-reconsidering-college-opportunities-Oregon-Washington-Washington-State-161331882/

Would be great to get another commitment in the recruiting fight to keep momentum. Things seemed to be hot and heavy with a bunch of recruits but it seems to have really cooled down over the last few weeks. I realize the staff works quietly, and I am sure they are busy now preparing fore the season to start, but it seemed like they were very involved with a bunch of recruits and some of those players have either gone elsewhere or have gotten really quiet. Any more word on the PG, Moore, they were recruiting and were trying to get an official visit set up? Would like to know how they are doing on finding another PG for next season now that Davis decided on UNC. Not much new about Shakeel Moore and Georgetown, but it's hard to find much solid information about his recruitment. As of early September he had 5 visits scheduled for Providence, NC State, Pitt, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M and a top 7 of Providence, Pitt, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, Georgia, Tennessee, and N.C. State. Georgetown then offered and Vanderbilt started showing interest which made him retract his top 7, and it seems like most of his visits were cancelled. He has definitely visited Providence and DePaul, while the Pitt and Ole Miss visits were cancelled and there's no confirmation that I could find that the NC State or Texas A&M visits happened. Providence Official Visit 9/13 NC State Official Visit 9/20 Unconfirmed whether he took this visit Pitt Official Visit 9/27 Cancelled Mississippi Official Visit 10/4 Cancelled DePaul Official Visit 10/4 Texas A&M Official Visit 10/11 Unconfirmed whether he took this visit Mississippi Official Visit 10/18 Cancelled
