I think its hilarious that we can never get everything to go moderately well. Somehow our offense is doing alright, foul trouble in under control, and turnovers are low but our defense is so abysmal that it counteracts all of those things.

Yeah, there are no excuses. We are a bad team that is badly coached. Please keep in my that we have played like 4 games in close to 3 weeks. There is something called practice. Im not sure what we do there. No one has gotten better on defense. No one. You are one of the few posters that will openly criticize the coaching without throwing players under the bus.

Help me understand what to look forward to next year and why this will all turn around in our favor (other than the obvious coaching job that will happen this offseason to improve all of these young players as we saw happen from last year to this year)?

The players are 18-20 years old and Im not going to spend a lot of time personally attacking them. Just doesnt feel right. But, I will admit that it's not all the coaches fault. I just think it a lot about the coaches fault

No worries. Per the ESPN box score, there's a Ra'Mond Hines on our bench available. Hilarious! Although at this point I wouldn't be surprised if that is a walk-on/practice player He's a manager.

Question: Has the fact that we have a very light roster (with injuries to White, Agau, Hayes) with no real depth playing into our defensive struggles, in that our players may be getting gassed too quickly? Or am I merely grasping at straws?
This is the worse defensive Hoya team that I have ever seen. Ever. Seen.

Jessie holds the ball out on a platter like he's serving it to the other team. In fairness to everyone, it's a sh$tshow top to bottom.

Are they mailing that out with the season ticket renewal forms? Yes, not many season ticket renewal forms will be needed...

I think you could bring all of those guys back and I don't see anything changing unless they let us put more than five on the court to defend.

The 2004 team with Courtland Freeman at center because Sweetney went pro, Wilson left, and Townes was ruled ineligible finished 30th in kenpom defensively. Think about that team's roster and let me know how you think it stacks up to this one.

That guy better walk across the Potomac when he returns for the billing his absence has been getting.

If you count Riyan Williams this team can stil go 9 deep tonight, this is excluding the walk-on.

One thing I will say about this game is that its unfair to expect Jessie to handle all the big man defense himself. Luke Fischer/Henry Ellenson are a matchup nightmare for any team, and with literally only one center available on the team with Hayes and Mourning out, this pounding should come as a surprise to no one.
