I am nervously confident... just curious, about what?

We get beaten downcourt in the transition game over and over and over. I don't remember a slower GU team.

Only took us ten minutes to work our way to a double digit deficit. Slacking. We usually knock that out in 6-8 minutes.

VC plays very much like a neutral site when we pack it with less than 50% attendance and tonight less than 25% attendance. It's time to revisit the talk of playing the Villanova model and only using VC for games we know can get some sort of crowd. And where do we play those other games? McDonough is too small for league games. In a perfect world, we'd have an on-campus building with 8000-9000 seats. It's not a perfect world.

It's too bad dribbling is part of the game because we genuinely suck at it. Seriously do we ever practice dribbling. We are fundamentally unsound and strategically inept.

Govan is showing his range tonight. Plus was rebounding well early. He's the only person who really looks awake.
Honestly I just feel bad for these guys . Hope for them they shake it off. The defense shows a clear lack of effort, and the lazy threes just confirm it. We may not be very good, but we are better than this.

Seems to me that DSR is phoning in the end of his career. Terrible D and indecisive on everything.

I am nervously confident... just curious, about what? Just joshing. As the game started, I posted I was "calmly confident." You know - a zen-like approach (see up thread re calm yet intense).

Right now the Hoyas defense does not have any answers.
