Hope to see the defensive intensity continue. And fewer fouls from LJ, didn't get to see his game yesterday.

I'm most looking forward to after the game, and the exciting conclusion of Hoyatalk's eight-part investigative series on how many rebounds Bradley Hayes had during a conference game two years ago.

He fouls out against the cuse committing the same stupid" touch foul" and he has that chit eatting grin on his face as he heads to the bench. Hope he hears about the freedom of movement rules and adjusts.

Yeah at least 3 of his fouls were easily avoided. He needs to adjust quickly, we need his slashing ability.

LJ has unbelievably fast hands. Two of those fouls he actually had all ball. But most likely he will always get that call so he has to learn to "keep his hands to himself".

Yep, I thought the same thing -- they looked sorta like fouling plays with hands reaching, but on replay, all ball. Keep your chin up and keep playing that good D, LJ, the calls will even up somewhere down the road!

Nicely played. I agree with those who are hoping to see the same intensity on defense. The offense will have off days but "want to" on defense should be a near constant regardless of opponent.

Just watched thengsme again last night and the calls on LJ, oarticularly the first two and last, were aweful, just bloody aweful. And you cant say then5thnwas not keeping his hands to himself, cause he didnt actually touch anyone, least of all with his hands.

I want the team to want to crush Brown and hold them down. I would like to see a blowout in which everyone gets to play a lot.

The discussion about whether Hayes should have played more in the past couple of years is ongoing. There should be no such discussion about the need to develop Mourning. He is currently further along at this point than Hayes was as a sophomore and he has already shown he can play in a critical game. I hope thta the coach finds a way to reward his effort and polish his skills in these next several games.

Here's our KenPom comparison:
#27 G'town AdjO=23, AdjD=45, AdjTempo=240 #240 Brown AdjO=264, AdjD=213, AdjTempo=47

May be a struggle for minutes come January, I agree that we need to find those minutes (although foul trouble by the bigs may make it a little easier).

We need to build on the momentum and start piling up some w's. LJ needs to adjust to the new rules. They won't adjust to him. DSR needs to get his shot settled down. GO HOYAS!!! Beat the Bruins.

No mention of the game tonight in today's WAPO. Not even listed in the TV sports schedule. Anyone in GU athletic department concerned?

would think even the Wash Post might pick up on Brown junior G Steven Spieth, who is averaging 8.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists, is the brother of Jordan Spieth - the world's top-ranked golfer and the winner of the 2015 Masters and U.S. Open.

WaPo is focusing on their planned extended feature on the nocturnal farting habits of the Terps fencing team. Far more important to readers in the DC area.
