The bright spot of this game is obviously Reggie Cameron. He is having a great all around game.
Copeland and LJ are extremely disappointing so far. Was really hoping Ike would be playing more like what Hayes (Wisconsin) has shown in this game.

Nice to see post players who are real threats to score. Hayes and Govan are going be very important if we are going to be a dangerous team in March.
We need DSR, Copeland, or Peak to pick-up the scoring in the 2nd half.
Defense has been good. Not great. Rebounding has been an improvement.

We really need Tre and Paul to get healthy so we can see what this team plays like when everyone's available. It's also tough with multiple guys consistently in foul trouble with less depth. Great to see Reggie play well offensively though. Hope he keeps it up.

DSR is pressing but he has to bring the ball up court with Peak on the bench with fouls. Hayes has been ineffective and is off and making judgment mistakes as to when to shoot. Little contribution from Copeland ( playing strong defense though) or Derrickson. It would be nice to get at least one foul shot but the Hoyas have not even reached the bonus yet. Cameron is having the breakout game on a big stage. Need that to continue. Well Pack Line defense clogs the middle making it hard to score down low or get offensive rebounds. Neither Govan or Hayes has really had to deal with Pack Line defense at this level before so it's going to take some time to get used to it. |

DSR just had Hayes trapped, ran away, and let him spin to the hoop for the and 1. Sheesh. Yeah that might of been the worst defensive mistake of the whole half and it came from our most experienced player. I feel like they are sleep walking. No energy or enthusiasm. Just awful basketball. Then Hayes throws the ball out f bounds to start the 2nd half. |

All you have to do with these rules is put your head down and drive. Just intentionally create a little contact and the refs will blow the whistle. This is going to make the games longer and drawn out. Jay Wright and Coach K are going to have a field day. It actually rewards bad basketball.

The Foul defense. Most of the fouls are stupid. DSR it 2 seconds left. Make the dribbler make a play.

Horrible call on Copeland going after a loose ball. Hoyas may actually run out of players. DSR has to get into the flow but has ball handling duties again as Peak is out with 3 fouls.
