I'm pretty sure it was a joke by tgo because they are so terrible...but just the same I'll leave up just about any rumor. It's the off season...
However, I've killed Wash since that's off definitively.

Hey can I get an update about this game between Oklahoma State and Georgetown? My parents are alumns of Oklahoma State but have sent their children to Georgetown. I was wondering what the neutral court location would be ... I know Oklahoma State usually plays neutral court games in its OOC in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, and NYC - and they have played BE opponents in all of those games ... any updates on where it might take place.

I do not believe Oklahoma State is a given. Georgetown was listed as a possible opponent for the All-College Classic but so were four other teams, and nothing has been confirmed.

The All College Classic traditionally involves a BE team, a mid major, and Oklahoma and OSU so we do seem like a fit

Per the information on the front page of hoyasaxa.com/bball we can take Oklahoma State off of this list and replace it with a possible date with Oklahoma outside of the All-College Classic. Are there any other rumors of places that we might be playing other than the fact we won't be playing in the BB&T (what a shocker).

Here are the confirmed games so far for the 2005-2006 season. I've included their records and RPIs from last year. I've also included their records, avg record and avg RPI over the last 3 & 6 years (given in that order separated by a /) to give a better idea of how each team usually does. Date | | Venue | | Opponent & Conf | | 2005 RPI | | 2005 Record | | Avg RPI | | 3 yr / 6 yr Record | | Avg Record | 12/03/05 | | AWAY | | Oregon (P10) | | 81 | | 14-13(6-12) | | 73.3/65 | | 52-34/109-63 | | 17-11/18-10 | TBD | | AWAY | | Michigan (B10) | | 157 | | 13-18(4-12) | | 92.3/106.7 | | 48-42/82-91 | | 16-14/14-15 | TBD | | AWAY | | Illinois (B10) | | 2 | | 32-1(15-1) | | 14.3/13.5 | | 80-13/149-36 | | 27-4/25-6 | TBD | | TBD | | Fairfield (MAAC) | | 178 | | 15-15(11-7) | | 128.6/164 | | 53-37/91-85 | | 13-15/15-14 | TBD | | TBD | | Oklahoma (B12) | | 16 | | 24-7(12-4) | | 23/16.5 | | 67-23/144-39 | | 22-8/24-7 |
Feel free to use this thread for rampant speculation and updates. I will update the table as more information becomes available.

This schedule is turning out to be pretty tough when coupled with the BE season. I like it though I just wish there were more of those top notch games coming to MCI. Illinois was fun to see last year despite the outcome and I think we take these teams on our home court.

It seems to me that the home OOC schedule is going to pale in comparison w/ the away OOC schedule, out of necessity. The BE schedule is going to be brutal, our away schedule is going to be brutal, so our home schedule should be softer, otherwise we might make the mistake MSU made a few years back and schedule our way out of an at large bid.

Just curious because there are only really two papers in OK - The Daily Oklahoman and the Tulsa World and neither of them have really been even covering the Sooners basketball program lately - more on who will be QB for the OU football team, minor league baseball, NACAR, etc. could you post the link to edify me?

Feel free to use this thread for rampant speculation and updates. I will update the table as more information becomes available. This has been updated to reflect the Sun Bowl Tournament. Since it is not confirmed and no match ups have been set, I have included all three teams rumored to be included. The tournament is a two day affair and I assume, since we are the other marquee team that we will be on the opposite side of host UTEP in the bracket...playing either MVS or Colgate the first day.

Didn't realize UTEP was so good last year. I know they lost their coach to Texas A&M -- was that last year or the year before? Does anyone know their prospects for this year?
This schedule is rounding out nicely.

UTEP lost their coach to Texas A&M two seasons ago - however the new guy is pretty good too - I'm not sure if UTEP is still in the WAC though - I thought they might have been one of the schools that joined Conference USA along with the University of Tulsa and TCU.
