Nice get for Creighton..
With the addition of Epperson, Creighton now as a trio of prospects in their 2017 class. Epperson joins No. 60 overall prospect Mitch Ballock and talented shooter TyShon Alexander to make up their current class.

Tyshon Alexander is a skilled player who plays hard. I've watched him play a couple times this fall and he gets after it. Epperson will be a solid replacement for Patton alongside the other returning BIG's they have supposedly coming back. A lot of talent coming into the BIG EAST next year! I hope Walker is ready to contribute from day 1!

Creighton is recruiting and playing, imagine that.. Coach McBucketts is building a program over at Creighton. He recruits like a mad man. If Foster comes back they will be right back in the top 4 of the the BIG EAST. Mintz is developing and remember they have former Syracuse PG Kaleb Joseph redshirting this season. Khyri Thomas is a 2 way player that's only going to get better. Patton is expected to leave for the Association (not physically ready but most kids aren't these days as the NBA draft is all about potential) but Creighton will still be fine.

Has our staff been seen on the trail since they were recruiting in the Northeast last week? Especially JT3? If not, probably a sign something's happening....

I haven't heard a word about us being involved on the recruiting trail in over a week. Which I just don't get because it sure seems like the staff should be out there.

Probably trying to putout fires on the home front by finding away to keep Tremont Waters and hold onto current roster. There's a reason why Tremont is still reportedly waiting for his release...

Interesting. I had asked about this in the Waters thread earlier. Do you think we have a chance of trying to persuade him to remain? I've seen it happen occasionally in football, seems less common in basketball. Though even if that's the case, seems like we should walk and chew gum at the same time and still have folks out on the trail.

Can't recruit without locking in Waters. He changes the pitch and makes the sale more compelling. I love Walker as well.

Also not that many high school games going on as most high school seasons nationwide have ended outside of maybe Indiana. Correct me if I'm wrong. Only All Star games left which D1 coaches aren't allowed to attend.

Teddy thanks for posting. I watched the first video and was like ahh don't think he can play at the BIG EAST level. Had a little bounce but is right hand dominant and not an explosive or physical player. Has a nice jumper and uses ball screens pretty well. Watched the 2nd video you post "Mid Season Highlights" and.. YEAH Tai Bibbs can play at the BIG EAST level. He's long for 6'3" and has very good bounce, has a good handle, comes off screens well, uses and turns the corner pretty good on a ball screen and a nice consistent stroke and follow through with deep range on his jumper. The video also shows he can create his own shot and score off the bounce on all 3 levels. Can get into the lane and finish at and above the rim through traffic and pull up for the short jumper. He's not a PG, at least not based on these videos at least. Definitely more of scoring guard. Reminds me a lot of freshman Kamar Baldwin at Butler in build and in game. Bibbs was named 2nd Team 4A All State in Illinois which includes the Whitney Youngs & Simeon high schools so he plays against pretty good competition and he put up 26 points a game this past season. To give some more perspective everybody else on the 1st and 2nd Team are committed to mid to high major D1's except for Mark Smith (Etomic shared info on previous in this thread) who had a monster senior year and I wished the staff would have pursued, will definitely end up at a High Major next season. Back to Bibbs, he's definitely a late bloomer as most of his offers (mid majors & Ivy's) have come since the calendar flipped to 2017 and he seems to be focused on Brown, Columbia and Dartmouth (the Ivy's) so he's academically sound and should be able to get into Georgetown as well. He should be able to score within JT3's offense if he's a competent passer or any offense really. I didn't originally realize the 1st video was from his Junior year and the 2nd video "Mid Season Highlights" was this his senior season. The 2nd video shows a ton of growth in skill, confidence and bounce in his game in a very short period from the 1st video. I wish the staff would take a very deep and hard look at Bibbs. I personally like what the video shows and I know there's more to see before a decision is made but it looks like he's definitely worth a deep and sincere look for JT3 or the next coach. I like late bloomers because they are hungry and play with a chip on their shoulders feeling like they've been slighted and have something to prove. You can definitely find some gems if the staff digs deep enough. Kyran Bowman at Boston College was uncommitted at this same time last year and he was a stud this year. Verbal CommitsMax Preps

Illinois Boys Basketball All State Teams Leave no stone unturned.. www.suntimeshighschoolsports.com/2017/02/03/henricksen-stretch-run-talented-bunch-unsigned-seniors/2. Tai Bibbs, 6-3, 2G, West Chicago
Where he ranks in Class of 2017: No. 11
The buzz: After receiving his release from Drake a month ago, Bibbs instantly became a hot name. The smooth, high-scoring guard is in the midst of a monster senior season, averaging close to 28 points a game. Bibbs has grown, filled out and looks like a different player physically than he did this past summer.
While others have viewed Bibbs as a true point guard, the Hoops Report has valued him more as a player off the ball with his length and overlooked athleticism who can slide over and play the point guard position.
Where he can play: For all the offers and interest Bibbs has received, the City/Suburban Hoops Report actually believes he’s been under-recruited. Bibbs is a no-brainer, must-have mid-major prospect. He’s shown too much improvement and showcases too much upside not to be a prime target of Missouri Valley Conference schools and a must-have for others at that level.
The recruitment: The lengthy list of offers continues to grow. In the past three weeks Bibbs has secured offers from Lafayette, Ball State, IPFW, Toledo, Columbia, New Mexico State, UC-Davis, Fordham, Rice and Dartmouth.

We certainly should be able to recruit with those schools now that he's open again. Surprised he isn't getting more attention. Lafayette, Dartmouth, etc. indicate that the academics are OK too.

I am really surprised there was not some type of statement from the school over the weekend about the future of the program and JT3. It would be great to have the staff out there recruiting really hard and finding a few players for next year, but not sure how effective they can be until their is some definitive answers about who the coach will be next year.

Bibbs looks like exactly what we need on this roster. Nor should he scare away any of the '18 guys we're on.
