Are there any 4-star triplets or 3-star quadruplets out there? Any package deals? Perhaps the entire senior class of a state championship winning team? Or a JUCO starting five?

Not to worry. We will sign a whole backcourt or front court of SRD's.

Any discussion about recruiting new players for next year, or future years, is on hold until the school makes some decision on JT3. Why would a kid even consider Georgetown if he doesn't know who the coach/staff is going to be next month, never mind the next few years. The university really needs to show a sense of urgency with this decision. Even if no one else decides to transfer or declare for the NBA, they still have multiple open scholarships they need to fill for next year.

Has the school come out and said that they were considering going in another direction as far as the head coaching job is concerned? If not it should be business as usual.

There is nothing "as usual" about the business of Hoya basketball right now.

Well, Blake Harris--a three star PG from Word of God in NC--may be available now that Romar is out in Washington. Harris also attended Carlise School in Va. and was not all that highly recruited, but I've seen no indication that we showed any interest with Waters coming in. Obviously, things have changed and some of his other suitors may have filled spots. It's speculative, but we need a PG. Desperately.
EDIT: Did not realize that there was a thread on the young man. Apologies.

Looks like a holding pattern until news drops. Not sure how long you can drag this out and salvage next season. I pray that there is a good plan being devised or we are screwed.

With all of the coaching changes going on around the country there should be a lot of previously committed player that will be available in the next few weeks/months. If the Hoyas are going to make a change, and can attract the right coaching staff, they may have an opportunity to fill some open scholarships with some good players. It is time to make a decision, one way or the other, and start working on the players who are becoming available.

Are there any rumors of our coaches out on the trail (solomon, broadus or waheed)? I would think that would also help calm the waters. There are some state tourneys going on now.

I have no information about the staff out recruiting, but if they are, then I would assume that means JT3 is returning. Otherwise those would be really tough discussions with players and/or parents trying to respond to all the rumors flying around about a possible coaching change. How do you try to convince a young player to make a 4 year commitment to your university when you can't tell them who the coach will be next month. If they were out there telling possible recruits that JT3 is absolutely coming back for the next season you would think that information would get out into the media. I have not heard anything either way from anyone. I am sure the staff would really like the school to come out and say something as soon as possible so they can start moving on with their jobs/careers.
