Yes I do. Friend of a friend (but credible ones at that). Move on, we aren't getting this kid. That may be the case, but I would be on him 1000% until it is over officially. FIGHT THE FIGHT.

Disagree. If it's clear that we have no shot and that JJ Jr only references us out of respect (and usually not even that) I'd prefer we focus our efforts on other talented SF prospects that are still heavily considering us.

Not an either or situation. Staff can recruit others very hard while pursuing JJ Jr. very aggressively. Can do both and be successful!

If he's waiting til the spring semester, JT3 has an opportuntiy to show a new style of play that might be more attractive to JJJ.

I think it is also because Jaren Sr. isn't a huge fan of the approach that JTIII takes on O. Hard to see us getting him and that is fine. if that's true, that's pretty stupid. Our forwards have been pretty successful. Now, if he were a guard, I'd understand.

Right or wrong style of play is important to so many kids because they feel certain styles allow them to better highlight their abilities. And besides the forwards Gtown has produced recently aren't exactly lighting up the NBA.

KC, not the same friends and I don't post much so I didn't say that about the KU series. It is from legit sources. I just hope the staff realizes this in terms of allotment of resources towards this prospect.

I would make him the #1 priority, tell him that, and tell other recruits that if they ask. NO BACKING DOWN.

We are the one HM that can say that our bigs leave with a back to the basket game. Our bigs are considered to be the best passing bigs in the game and 3 encourages a face up game for his 4/5. If SR doesn't want his son at Gtown then it is definitely a grudge against the school. It not even pressure from following in your father's footsteps because JJ was a tier below some of the former players that have already sent their kids to Gtown....

What team on his list has a better recent history in developing those players? Bama? UMD? Purdue?... Style of play is always important agree 100%. I just think if true that's a flawed opinion, our offense is very 3-5 friendly.

This Spring was a breakout for top prospect Jaren Jackson Jr. The former Park Tudor big man was already doing well in his recruiting and was among the top five prospects in Indiana. However, his stock grew to new heights as he went off during the Nike EYBL season for the Spiece Indy Heat.
Jackson averaged 15.7 points per game while shooting 45.5% from the field and 39.5 percent from three. Jaren also pulled in 7.0 boards per game on the EYBL circuit.
Here are some highlights from MaxPreps.com from EYBL Peach Jam the first week of July.

Unfortunately, I too have heard this from an excellent source. No JJjr for us. That is depressing news. Really have to hope these new coaches can amp up the HS recruiting.
