makeplayz.com/highlights-recruiting-update-5-star-pf-jaren-jackson/Maryland, Michigan, Pittsburgh, Alabama, Xavier, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, IUPUI, Purdue, Michigan State, Butler, Indiana, Notre Dame and Illinois have all offered. According to Jackson, Purdue is showing some of the most interest while he is also talking to Maryland, Indiana, Michigan and Michigan State on a regular basis too. Schools that are talking to him but have not offered include Texas, Kansas, and Texas A&M. There’s no question that Jackson’s stock is on the rise so it will be very interesting to see who else gets involved as they enter the summer evaluation period.

I get the feeling we're probably not under serious consideration.

Very impressive youngster.. I love the way he shot down any notion of changing the form on his shot, good for him..

Jaren Jackson Jackson's stock has been rising since the first session of Nike's EYBL and he is another who is poised to make the leap to five-star status. Jackson's father starred at Georgetown before playing in the NBA and Jackson spent most of his childhood in Maryland. Maryland, Indiana, Michigan State, Purdue, Arkansas, Illinois, Kansas, and Texas are some of the schools after him the hardest.

Kinda OT to Jaren but connected in some ways.. On the other hand the chance to see international talent may be worth it.. www.sny.tv/college-recruiting/news/kentucky-kansas-duke-among-teams-headed-to-spain-to-recruit/185674800Coaches from UCLA, N.C. State, Oregon and St. John's are also expected in the wake of a new rule that allows college coaches to recruit at any FIBA World Championship event, sources said.

Link to the U17 game last night against Chinese Taipei. linkNice to see an entire game versus just highlight clips. Jaren doesn't start but comes in around 6 minute mark in the 1st and second quarters, doesn't play 3rd, but gets in around 8:30 of the 4th. First half is fairly uneventful for Jaren, picks up a couple of fouls trying to defend with his length rather than moving his feet, makes a few free throws, grabs a couple boards. the fourth quarter he becomes more aggressive and plays much better.

A late night stunner to many was the move of Park Tudor Power Forward Jaren Jackson Jr. The Panther standout is headed to an already loaded LaPorte LaLumiere Program. He will join Jeremiah Tilmon, Brian Bowen, Tyger Campbell and Isaiah Coleman-Lands (another Indy native) at LaLu. This move should NOT change his recruiting significantly. Look for Indiana, Purdue, Georgetown (where his dad was a standout), Michigan State, Maryland, UCLA and Xavier to all remain in the race for the nationally ranked forward.

l think the longer jr hold off on his commit right now the better for GU. with now the new guys and if he sees that our style of play quicken/faster/agressive (as the new season begins) this just might increase appeal factor for that commitment

This guy isn't coming in my opinion if his dad has any say. Can't imagine he is high on JT III.

In the "guess the next commit" thread, he receives no mention from B&G. That's a telling sign to me.

In the "guess the next commit" thread, he receives no mention from B&G. That's a telling sign to me. That might have more to do with the fact that Jaren Jackson Jr. has stated many times in interviews that he won't be making any decisions until at least January or February and the name of the thread is "guess the next commit". I'm pretty sure JT3 will get at least 1 commitment by the early November signing period.

I think it is also because Jaren Sr. isn't a huge fan of the approach that JTIII takes on O. Hard to see us getting him and that is fine.

Yes I do. Friend of a friend (but credible ones at that). Move on, we aren't getting this kid.
