Does JTIII beat these players if they miss a shot?? I just don't understand how no one except Markel and DSR are willing to take a shot outside of the paint, even if they are WIDE OPEN.

I don't think there is any "game plan" that would have guided us to victory in this game. We just don't have the offensive horses. We bust our backsides defensively enough to hang in there but we only have 2 1/2 who consistently score and 5 guys who literally are afraid to shoot. How can you game plan with this team? There is no answer that gets us a win in this game. Agreed. Just out matched.

Good for Starks to get his points. He deserves it.

What surprises me is how much better Creighton is at finishing around the rim when its players get there/get the ball in close. I believe the team is playing how they practice.... If the bigs are not finishing around the rim in the game They have to be missing the same shots in practice.

It doesnt help that DSR took so long in finding his outside shot.

Creighton with 26 FT attempts to 11 for the Hoyas, continuing a season-long discrepancy.

They clearly aren't good players if JT had no use for them. Pay no attention to the fact either Vee or JB would have the third highest offensive rating on this team. To be fair (and I'm still a big Vee fan) neither Vee nor JB would have any eligibility left and JB plays a much easier schedule (Vee, too, to a lesser extent). But yeah, we're not good at offense. I know they wouldn't but the point still holds. Why do we recruit these kids and then put them in a position to transfer? We clearly have two more potentially on the way and that just puts us further behind in building a cohesive unit and more importantly, quality depth.

Think Gus Johnson just offended the hell out of Raftery with his shot at Seton Hall's academics. I know it was a joke, but Bill wasn't laughing.

I really hope that Hop can build the on this and develop some more confidence. Having one guy with some ability in the paint could make a big difference.

Unfortunately, this game was lost in the second 10 minutes of the first half.

I am seeing it way too much...and when they shoot it is if they are over thinking the shot...hesitate before even taking the shot Good effort there by Bowen for the steal, but he is way too passive this game on offense

Our guys are showing a lot of heart. This Creighton team is very good. Not really. We are just really bad.

What surprises me is how much better Creighton is at finishing around the rim when its players get there/get the ball in close. We used to be that team. Jeff and Roy were obvious, but Sapp and Jon Wallace were just spectacular at the high off the glass layups.

Reggie continues to gain more confidence. Nobody else can shoot. An outside shot by a bad shooter is - a bad shot.

Well we would have beat the spread if the refs hadn't given them 3 points on the foul they called on Cameron on the missed 3 for wragge. I wish they called flopping. Cameron didn't even touch him and he crumpled up like a yugo hitting a Mack truck
