In the aftermath of the loss, I heard (or maybe read) an interview where III said that everyone was healthy. He admitted to adjusting the pace of his practices so that his players would not be worn out at the end of the season. He said, in past years, the players were not in top physical condition. It would appear, from that statement, that Otto was in top physical condition. No word on whether Otto had a bug, but I doubt it. Thanks. Just how it appeared to me. If he was ill, I would have expected there to have been some news of it, but as I said...I've been in a self-induced bubble about anything related to ball.

Shabazz Muhammad and Nerlens Noel haven't declared yet, either. This means nothing. Sorry.

Our players always wait until later than most to announce they are leaving. I'm sure he has already decided to leave, GU just seems to hold off on announcing it for whatever reason. Getting an agent squared away maybe? I don't really know why, Georgetown is a weird place. I wouldn't read too much into it, Nerlens Noel hasn't even declared yet and his season ended in February. Hasn't III said that if someone is a guaranteed top 5 pick he basically doesn't let them stay? I don't seem him or JT jr. advising the Porters to have Otto stay, and I don't seem him going against that advice either.

We knew DaJuan was leaving the second his last season was over. Stop trying to give a rhyme or reason to it. If he leaves, he leaves. If he stays, he stays

Not really trying to give any rhyme or reason to it just noticed a bit of trend. All of our lottery locked in players seem to announce later than everyone else. Obviously they could be seriously considering staying but they usually don't so it doesn't mean anything that he has yet to announce his decision.

Getting back to the parents. These don't seem to be folks who look at Otto as a lifetime meal ticket. Otto may go but the fact that his folks did not send him all over the country while a high schooler and let him be himself in his home town rather than a Macdonald's All American tells me that he and they are at least looking at more than NBA bucks. Remember, he was on no ones radar and could have spent the last few years at Lipscomb. In short the kid is centered and will take his time to really consider all his options, including life after basketball.

MCW taking his talents to the D-league. You're telling me there is no place in the league for a point guard who can't shoot or play man to man defense?

Dude is going to be drafted very highly because of height. Will disappoint, since the % of Cuse draftees living up to expectations is incredibly low. Aside from Carmelo, who has performed as expected, who was the last Syracuse draftee to perform to any expectations? Rony Seikaly, maybe?

He was basically a marginal player in the NBA.
