Not sure if this was covered in the press conference, but Otto will finish his classes this semester while preparing for the draft. Given the class and maturity that he has shown in the two years at Georgetown I wouldn't expect anything less. Otto we'll miss you and good luck!

Good luck to Porter! The Hoyas got two quality years from him. I agree with President Obama that some colleges should consider offering 2 years associate degrees.... If an athlete or student choose to attend school for 2 years they would leave with a degree.

Who knows which of these teams can step up with Otto in the fold? He will immediately make any of those teams better -and classier.

Anyone who is still dumping on the wizards has not been watching them the second half of the season.

Anyone who is still dumping on the wizards has not been watching them the second half of the season. You mean where they've lost 4 straight and 7 out of their last 10? ;D Just kidding. I don't follow them much, so I have no idea. I'll take your word for it. However, I'd wager that those who are dumping on the Wizards aren't basing it so much on the second half of this season, but more on the last....oh, say 30-ish years?

I definitely have my blue and gray goggles on, but looking at the draft this year, it wouldn't shock me if Otto is a ROY candidate next year. He might not have the most upside out of everyone there, but I think he could be the most NBA ready right now, and his skill set at his position could lend itself to a more immediate impact than the other prospects. I didn't see a ton of McLemore though.

I wish Otto nothing but the best. I thank him for two great years as a member of the hoyas. I do not fault him whatsoever for his choice. It shows great character that he is finishing out his classes while working on the draft. he represented this university very well the past two years, good luck otto! we will miss you.

As a Wizards fan, I'd love to have him but he'd fit real well in Cleveland and Orlando has some young pieces that they could either flip for some veterans or develop them.
A Cavs squad with Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Otto, Tristan Thompson and Varejao looks real good on paper.

A Cavs squad with Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, Otto, Tristan Thompson and Varejao looks real good on paper. That's actually the team I would not want him to go to. They have a crazy owner and a horrible front office. They were gifted Lebron by Stern and couldn't get any blue chip players around him for 8 years. Varejao is nothing more than a serviceable big and Tristan Thompson is an undersized power forward with a low field goal percentage. Kyrie is okay but is injury prone. And I wouldn't not want to play with the trash named Dion Waiters. Cavs will continue to be mediocre. The Magic are just a very bad team with zero talent. I think Detroit is a player away from being a really good team. They already have Monroe and Drummond was a steal in the draft. He leads all rookies in production efficiency. Add Otto to that front court and they are set for years. And Dumars is an excellent GM so Otto would be in good hands.

Magic's big guy looks like a talent. Has been a top five center the second half of the year.

Otto, quite simply put, is a class act. I believe every word of what JT-3 said at that conference.

Add Otto to that front court and they are set for years. And Dumars is an excellent GM so Otto would be in good hands. The Cavaliers actually changed their front office structure after LeBron departed. I didn't say they have a star player at every position - no team does - but I'd take a "serviceable" center who is a good defender, plays like his hair is on fire and gives me double-digits boards nightly, an "undersized" power forward who nearly averaged a double-double while shooting a paltry 49% from the field and an "okay" point guard that was an All-Star in his second season. To say Orlando has zero talent makes me question if you even pay attention to the NBA. Detroit has Greg, Andre Drummond - who has shown flashes of brilliance but is still incredibly raw - and a bunch of contracts it doesn't want. They are nowhere near being "a player away from being a really good team."

Otto Porter would look really good on the Timberwolves. He'd pair up really well with Love, Rubio and Pekavic and Adelman runs a Princeton style offense, which we know Otto can thrive in.
Also, the Wolves need to make up for drafting all those Syracuse players.
