"Clark and Seth pick us to go to the Final Four from the East." Damn, Seth Davis actually picked us once?

Does Belmont have an effective press? That is our major weakness right now.

Anyone know if the coach of Belmont is the same as the last time we played? I predict a game much like Notre Dame for us.

While I don't expect us to get past our first round opponent, our hypothetical path to the final four is eerily similar to our 2007 path. Belmont, a ACC team, a team we already played in November this season, and North Carolina. Weird. And then Ohio State in the Final Four.

People, I've been saying for weeks that the most important game of the season was ND because they killed us the last 2 years and are the kind of 3 point shooting team that killed us in the NCAA over the same 2 years. Look, we dominated ND this year like we have every team that relies on 3's. We'll kill Belmont. And we'll make it to the sweet 16. Then we can start worrying...

I do get the feeling that if we win the first one, this team can rip off a few wins in a row.

Good news - at the very least, you can enjoy the first day of the tournament before deciding sports are stupid. I agree, after Davidson, Ohio and VCU, it was hard to really enjoy the rest of the tournament. I just want a game where I don't stop watching midway through the 2nd half (like I did with Ohio and VCU).

This has to mean we would (knock on wood) play 'early' on Sunday.
