Belmont averages 81.5 ppg. Their worst offensive performance thus far has been a 61 point effort at Miami (OH).
This year's Hoyas had 19 games where they prevented their opponent from breaking 61 and held 10 teams to 50 points or less this season. I don't think Belmont has ever run headfirst into a buzzsaw like they will tomorrow.

Is anyone else getting sick of talking about this and just ready to play the dang game already? I can't stand waiting anymore!

My prayer is that III doesn't revert to the last game stratergy where he played 6 guys in a double overtime game! Jabril,Nate and Mikail sat on the bench. One of our great strengths is our deep bench where we can wear other people out and that's what should have been done in a double overtime game. I am not a BB guru like some of you guys but I attribute a good part of the loss to this plan(?) of attack. Totally agree with these sentiments. Belmont plays uptempo, and there is no way we should attempt to play with only 6. Of course Hopkins time may be limited because he is not as far along as the others, but Nate on the boards and Jabril defending their guards on the perimeter will be very important.

Look, Hoyas can't be any more disappointing than they've been in the recent past tourney years. Stop worrying about the past and just have fun with how the team played so far and their chances this year. Hoyas didn't lose our center, odds are in our favor of not repeating a past bad performance and the so called experts are picking against them. What more could we ask for!

Great year leading up to this 3 seed! I hope all you fellow Hoya Fanatics are doing well.
I was very pleased to have a chance to watch the team at MSG during the Big East Tourney, and it was great to see some of you at Cafe 31 and around MSG and NY.
I am once again traveling out of the country and will be in London for the game tomorrow. I tried to sign on to CBS March Madness online to be able to watch games and it did not allow me to register because of my location (out of the US).
I was wondering if any of you have any advice on how I might register from here in London? Are there any fellow board readers in London or does anyone have any advice on how I might be able to watch the Belmont game tomorrow? Thanks in advance for anyone who is more computer savvy than I or who might have better local experience.
As to the game I am too superstitious to comment on our winning or losing, but man am I looking forward to our length and athleticism overwhelming the Bruins!

Clearly the smart people think Belmont is for real. The line has moved to 3 1/2 points?? If this is a football line is basically a pick up game!! We clearly are not getting respect of a typical 3rd seed.. Lets prove vegas wrong..

The "smart guys" in Vegas only set the opening line. Sure the guys who make a living betting sports can move lines to where they want, but for an event this big got to think this is the public pushing the line down.
I actually wouldnt be surprised to see the line move back up as money starts going the other way in response to the small margin for a gtown pay out.

Got that nervous pregame feeling in the pit of my stomach already. Especially with the lack of upsets in today's games. Only VCU has beaten a hire seeded team. Don't want us to be the first major upset of the tournament. I'm confident in our guys to get it done. This is not the same team that lost early in the tournament the past couple years. Let's go out and take it to them from the tip and never look back. Got in to Columbus around 9 tonight very excited to see our guys in the tournament in person for the first time since 2008.

The games today have been pretty much drama-free with no real upsets. Which means the odds are tomorrow will be wild.
Strap yourselves in, people.
