I think Otto is a great match up for Jones. Will be tough, but I'm confident in our guys. Unfortunately won't be able to see the game or do much tracking of it as I have work for one job from 9am-5pm and then another job from 6:45pm-2:30am. Hopefully it will be worth it to watch the DVR the next day.

Perry McDonald was why we lost the championship in 85' when he replaced Reggie. Just saying... Look who's talking!! You're the reason why we lost in '85!!

Not sure it is a "great match up" but I don't doubt Otto. He is the man, no doubt. It will require a TOTAL TEAM effort from our front court. Everyone needs to come ready to bang.

I'm not excited about that matchup. I think we'll have better luck trying to keep Jones from getting boards, as opposed to having his man attempt to go up and get the board himself. Nate would do a better job putting a body on him.

I just think Otto matches up well by being our only player who can guard him in the post and on the perimeter. Don't think Nate can keep up with him on the outside.

Maybe, but he's better offensively in the post. Maybe putting Nate on him will get him to try and play a more perimeter oriented game, where he'll probably take a few 3's (22% from behind the arc) and have a harder time crashing the boards

I noticed Otto has his left wrist taped up with black tape. He seemed to re-injure it during the loose ball no-shots for us foul call in the Marquette game, coming down hard on the wrist. Anybody know if it is effecting him? I think he missed his three point attempt following the fall on that wrist. Hope it heals up fast.

8 minutes ago - by Patrick Southern - F Kilicli on C Sims: 'Eh' Mountaineers freshman F Deniz Kilicli didn’t share his coach’s strong assessment of Hoyas C Henry Sims. “What do I think about him? Eh, he’s alright,” Kilicli said. “He’s not [Greg] Monroe or like a big-time big man. You know what I mean? But he does his job well.”
Oh it is on.

Keeping Kevin Jones from dominating us on the glass is the key to this game.

What's the over/under on how many times Henry sees that post before the game? Methinks more than a few.

Are we competing with the football championship that night? If so, damn. Not that I'm a big NCAA football fan, but lots of people are, and that's a game I would otherwise watch. Hope it doesn't affect the crowd.
9pm start, too, right?

I still love Vlade, despite his spending so many years playing in Sacracowtown. This is going to be a very tough game. We may be bigger than we were last year, but we don't have the heft that these guys do. Tough match-ups.

I don't think the dorms open till noon on the 10th. So a kid can't stay on campus and study or research even if he wants to? That's absolutely nuts. I'm starting to think they should just close the damn school during the basketball season so no students will ever come to any games. I also think I should get a teaching job at GU so I won't have to work, like, half the year or more.
