By far the most important outcome from yesterday and glad to hear surgery went well. Hopes are just for Jeff to have a healthy/long life and if that includes basketball--great. If not--at least he's healthy and all my best to him/his family. I agree 100%! Even if he never plays again hes made like 15 mill, so im sure hes very well off.

Another good sign: Jeff (and Jon Wallace) were at the Wiz/Thunder game last night (didn't see them myself, but have it on the best of authorities they were there). Nine days after heart surgery - that must mean things are very much on the mend!
...they were reportedly in The Tombs as well...

Naw, I think that Jeff figured as bad as Les Boulez have been, going to one of their games was likely to be one of the quietest, calmest places he could go and not get his heart rate up.

"I dedicate the season to him," Durant said. " Jeff is a positive person. I learned so much from him. No matter what, he stays positive through the toughest times. He's still smiling and laughing and enjoying himself. It's tough to go through what he went through, and I pray for him every single day. But he knows that he's going to get back better and stronger. I can't wait for that day. I know he can't wait." It sounds as if KD is a positive person, too. Very nice to read this.

Good to hear that Jeff is up and about. Just has to watch out for any infections, where he had the incisions.

Fantastic news that Jeff is up and about. Having undergone open heart surgery myself, if he's out at games and the Tombs nine days after surgery, it seems likely he did not have to undergo opening the sternum which, if true, is very good news. Also glad to see Jeff and Jon continue to be good friends. Maybe Jon can take him down to Alabama to see the animals again.

Didn't see anyone else mention it (in this thread at least) but Jeff was at the Phone Booth on Saturday and looked pretty good when they showed him on the big video board. If his heart can handle watching the Hoyas shoot 3-23 in the 1st half then I'd say he's well on his way to recovery.
