My bad, didn't see it there - they did say that speculation was that he would be okay in the long term but that he might have to have some sort of procedure or go on medication. Hope they take every available precaution and he can go back to work soon safely.

Celtics had a Green vs. White scrimmage tonight:
"A portly Mike Sweetney, weighing in at well over 320 pounds, put the White up, 48-46, with just over 50 seconds remaining as the two sides exchanged buckets in a furious finish before an appreciative crowd."
Over 320 pounds?! Yikes. Celtics boards that I read indicate that he is obscenely out of shape and was the worst player on the floor tonight. Thats a shame.

thought Greg looked good tonight until his goof late.
he's put on pretty good weight and should be more suited to handle playing the C position. Really gets after it on the boards (was doing so all last year, an really his SO here for the most part). Wish/hope they find a way to utilize his passing eventually. too good of a passer to not run more stuff through him.

ok dont sound good to me best of luck to him cleveland clinic is THE place to be for any "stress test " related cardiac problems so prayers here for jeff. go hoyas go jeff ie the term stress test aint a psychiatric term in my baliwick but usually refers to a cardiac stress just hope our mans ok

I compared the players names listed in the Celtics box score to those listed on the roster. The roster lists 15 including Green but not Sweetney or Gilbert Brown, both of whom are listed in the box score. Since Sweetney had A DNP, I suspect he does not make the roster. Any Celtics fans with info on this. Maybe if he can make the 15 man roster he can be in a good environment and get into NBA shape.

I did not see the exhibition game but I saw snippets of their open practice, which was an intrasquad scrimmage. Sweetney is still huge.

Sweetney was at the exhibition in Toronto. He did not get into the game though. I think everyone else did get some minutes though, including Gilbert Brown. Unfortunately, Sweets is, as Dan said, quite enormous. I'd say no chance he makes the roster.
