What's equally bad is they refer to him as the Indiana University product.

I don't get this move by the Hornets. Their roster is so awful after the 5 starters. I thought for sure Pat would be safe.

I thought I read that Summers had signed with N.O. Regardless, this is unfortunate. I'm really surprised that he was waived this early.

too bad for Pat - maybe they waived him this early so he has a chance to catch on with another team. Surprised that no one would take a chance on a 6-7 / 6-8 guy with range and huge motor.
Any news on Sweetney in Boston? I saw they signed the 1 center off the D league - does that mean that Mike doesn't have a shoot? If I were them and I had the roster space; I would sign him to the minimum but never play him. Just run him and get him in shape over the first half of the season. He has literally 0 miles on him and if he got in shape could be a force. If it didn't work out - they are only out the minimum.... I get that they aren't a charity but if they had the spot...why not

I forget where I read it, but someone said that out of the three players brought to training camp (Sweetney, Gilbert Brown, and someone else), Sweets has the best shot to make the roster.

The Celtics saw Reggie Lewis die. They are hypersensitive, which probably is not a bad thing.

Results are apparently in on Jeff. Ainge won't say whether they're good or bad, but says it depends on perspective. This really doesn't sound good. Keep Jeff in your prayers for whatever this mystery ailment is. Let's hope this is all precautionary.

I just did a google news search for articles posted in the last hour about Jeff. Didn't practice again today, Celtics are preparing to play without him (at least for the start of the season), going to address the "situation" tomorrow.
Keep Jeff in your prayers, folks, this doesn't look promising. I just hope its short-term and not long-term

Hope all is well with Jeff. Present and past Hoya bball players have had their health issues the past few years. But better safe than sorry.
