7 to 8 million per year-and 4 to 5 years. Source?

Getting yourself in the right places, in conjunction with your teammates and their positions as well as the overall schemes on offense and defense, is not a simple matter in the NBA(nor in college for that matter). I read an article earlier in the year suggesting that it takes 20 to 30 games for a team to incorporate new players and be comfortable. Jeff has not played his best so far, clearly, but let's not write him off quite yet. I will be more interested to see how he adapts to his place next year, whether it be with Boston or with some other organization.

I thought Jeff played better last night at least early on. He missed a number of shots late, but was on early.
Finished with 9 points 4 rebounds a block and a steal.
He seemed more active and comfortable. He also listed JTIII as his most influential coach in one of the graphics.

If Green can't play for Doc Rivers, there is a problem. He developed Rondo and Perkins to very good NBA players. I an confident that Green will become the same.

@frazier: you are exactly right. Rivers have stated that he regrets not watching his sons play in high school as much as he wished. Now he has an opportunity to watch his son for at least one year play in college.

Much better game from Roy today - finished with 16pts, 10reb, 3blks to help Pacers beat the Bulls.

Much better game from Roy today - finished with 16pts, 10reb, 3blks to help Pacers beat the Bulls. Much more aggression from him and played well and backed up his guarantee--the Pacers weren't swept--they won a game (no thanks to Mike Dunleavy JR who was trying to choke it away). This series should be at worst a split and even Indiana up 3-1 right now if the Pacers could close out the 4th quarter. Like Frank Vogel a lot/hope he gets the job instead of Mike "Squint" Brown.

Good bounce back by Roy but doesn't make up for the fact that he cost the Pacers game three.
Hey, RDF, is Mike Brown being considered for the job? Please, no. Keep Vogel. Let Brown go to the Bobcats. Vogel is legit.

Vogel is legit. Brown wants the job--and there have been talks-but Vogel has pretty much locked it up with the strong coaching job he's done and ability to get players on same page.

Roy has played awfully soft tonight. He MUST get stronger in the offseason and he MUST work on establishing better position in the paint. I think and hope he still has a LOT of room for improvment and can still be a force in the league when all is said and done but he has underwhelmed in this series othe than in game 4.

"What NBA player made a field goal in the playoffs before he ever made a field goal in regular season play?"
