So happy for PE Jr. So deserving.
Hard work does pay off. Hopefully this is just the start!

Is it bad if I want a #22 Skyforce camo jersey?

Does that mean that PE Jr. finally gets put up on the wall in McDonough? Or does he actually have to play in a regular season NBA game before he gets put up there?

I started a separate thread on this a few minutes ago - seemed like a worthy topic.

Fantastic news for a very deserving young man. Hope he gets an opportunity and takes full advantage. We need another NBA Hoya for that thread! Congratulations Pat!

Pat is an even better story for recruiting then just getting to the NBA. All the hard work he has put in through the years is stellar! Be it his time at Georgetown or in the D-League, he hustles, works hard, and gets it done! Go Pat, represent the Hoyas well!
PS Kevin Love's fill in had 30 the other night...defenses dont know about you yet Pat. Play smart and with your usual tenacity and energy and you will be fine. Oh and its the NBA, you need to get some points so don't be nervous to shoot the rock!

Pat's first game action could be against Lakers tomorrow night---nice stage to possibly make his debut! Staples Center in LA--hope he gets some minutes.
Hometown--Randolph isn't necesssarily a "fill in" for Love-the Wolves have been obsessed with acquiring him for a while and the kid was a Lottery Pick--and former Hoya recruiting target the year prior to Greg Monroe being signed--Randolph was the skilled big man Georgetown targeted. He also put up 24 and 15 last night against the Thunder--whose frontline is vastly improved since the trade and their team is playing well. So 31 and 10, and 24 and 15 back to back nights--as he's gotten more playing time.

The Hornets are extremely thin at the 3/4 position. Pat has a real shot to get into the rotation if only for his size and defensive abilities. The likes of Quincy Pondexter and Jason Smith are coming off the bench for them right now. Pondexter was a first rounder this year, but he hasn't really shown anything. Pat should get a look, maybe even for next year. He has paid some serious dues in the D-League and has earned this all the way. Good for him - one of my favorite Hoyas (though honestly just about everyone from that team makes my favorite Hoya file, but moving on).
They also feature Aaron Gray at the backup center position! Good for that guy that he's cashing an NBA paycheck.
