Dan, that link took me to a Gottlieb clip (that once again demonstrates how big of a tool he is).

I have been watching Greg's numbers throughout the year and they have certainly improved. One thing I have found weird though is his low assist totals. Last night to go with his 21pt 10reb, he had 5 assists. Maybe they are finally figuring what a real weapon he can be.....

Roy has 22 of Pacers' 55 in middle of 3rd quarter against Nets.

The interesting thing is how well Greg has improved defensively. He's going to be a beast...

wondering what others think about the jeff trade after a few weeks. He only had 17 mins the other night - good for 7 pts. he looks good when he is out there and DEF benefits from a better version of offense (ie not waiting KD shoot it). But I'm worried if he will develop like a paul pierce (hopeful) .
curious what others think.

Having 3 potential Hall of Famers on the roster ahead of you will do that. Among the Boston area people I talk to, he's quickly earned a reputation for being a no-nonsense producer that could be a valuable building block for the inevitable transition away from the Big 3. I get the impression that JG is also getting some extremely valuable 1-1 time with KG and Paul Pierce in practice, which is probably infinitely more valuable for his career in the long-run than "learning on the fly" and being second (or third) fiddle to Durant.

Don't just look at Jeff's minutes.
30 minutes a game with at least 25 of them watching Durant or Westbrook isolate is not better than 20 minutes with 10 of them as the leading scoring option on the second unit and the other 10 playing with at least two of Boston's big three in an offense that shares the ball and looks for good shots. He also is learning how to play team defense.

Jeff is clearly a far better fit for the Celtics' offense than for the Thunder's. The player movement and the ball movement are big benefits.
The real interesting thing to watch is on defense. The Thunder would basically switch on anything and Jeff was an enthusiastic switcher. The Celtics expect you to fight through screens which has the effect of substantially reducing mismatches. As of right now, Jeff still seems like he is fighting a tendency to switch.

What I've seen from watching him on Boston is that Rondo makes him so much more dangerous. Rondo likes Jeff a lot cause he runs with him and he gets a lot of easy lay-ups due to it.

Will find link momentarily, but reports on Twitter suggest New Orleans has signed Pat Ewing to a 10-day contract. About time!
